We don't need no trades, we need to get Will going, we can use Crabbe also.
Meyers is a PF right now, I don't want to see him one minute at C with Rolo back. Center is Rolo, Kaman, then Freeland when he returns. if we need a 3rd center right now use T-Rob or Lamarc, Meyers is a PF.
CJ is a PG. He's at his best as a PG and that's actualy something we need = a 3rd PG - more than another SG.
We have too many PFs, exactly like Lamarc said at the beginning of camp. We have Aldridge, T-Rob, Meyers, Claver. Even Wright is IMO more suited to be a stretch 4 but he can at least be servicable as a 3.
I think we're good enough roster-wise, we need to get things going again, we need to make changes in the way we play, not in our players.

Stotts saying Lopez responsible for a lot of Lillard's scores at the hole.

Interesting. I can understand that point of view. Esp since we don't want these bench guys go flourish elsewhere. But I think we need one more guy who can be counted on to make an open shot. Ray Allen? Could have a championship effect on everyone too.

Hey our starters racked up 89 out of 103. WE are 21-5 at home. Must say the road is a tough one to endure so all the home wins have to be in the 75%+ stat.

I said that getting the division title doesn't mean we guarantee HCA in the first round. So even though we are 4th in the standings, we could be going the first round on the road.

Yes as of today we have hca because clippers lost. But as of 3 days ago, we didn't. So from here on out, our team must play as each game is a must win

I'm not sure whether a 1-point win over the Jazz is continued cause for concern, or whether a squeak-by win is a signal things are turning around. Forgive me if I see it as continued cause for concern.

We've been losing these close ones. This is definitely progress. :)

I was in the same boat, but we went up 9 after Wes hit that three in the corner with like 2 mins left. We just took our foot off the gas a bit, and they hit some threes to make it closer. This win was legit even if the final score might cause some concern.

I need more before I believe we turned the corner. Seems like last night we "lived by the 3", rather than dying by it. So the only thing that really changed was that we got a couple shots to fall.
I was really expecting (maybe just hoping?) the team to come out and put the game away in the 1st quarter.

I wouldn't say that bro. Our points in the paint was pretty solid. Most of dames shots were inside the three. Aldridge was in beast mode down low.

Oh we certainly have not turned the corner. That will be the case only when the offense starts to click again and ball movement returns. But it was a step in the right direction-- better to take these steps in wins rather than losses.

And it's always encouraging to see Dame shoot >50%

I think Dame was 0-6 from three. That's bad. What's good, is that he abandonned his reliance on the three ball and KILLED from midrange and in the paint. That's how you do it. Get your shot going inside, then move it outside. I'm very anxious to see if last nights performance propels him back to the Dame we know and expect.

Oh, for sure! The team goes the way Dame goes.

Did we watch the same game? LA did almost all of his damage from the outside, except for that one up and under move, and some O boards. Gobert shut him down almost completely -- he's had bad games before, but mostly because he's been cold, not anything defenses have done. Haven't seen any defender take LA out like that since Tyson Chandler a while back.

If he's 0-10 ft from the basket, that's "down low". All of those shots are from the paint. That's what we want from him.

And I saw more than just the up and under play. There were about 3-4 plays down low at least. He was fouled on 2 separate occasions plus there was that blown offensive foul when the defender was inside the restricted area

Our starters won the game last night. My biggest concern is not with any of them, it's with Kaman. Since his baby was born he's disappeared on offense. If Kaman comes of the bench and gives us 12 pts and 8 boards, we easily win the game. Don't know if that knee contusion is bothering him but early in the season he was our bench offense

I don't know what's up with Kaman. He looks like a terrible decision-maker out there, Could be injury, could be teams taking away his primary moves but they are forcing him to make decisions other than a jumper or back a guy down. I haven't followed him enough to know if he's always been this turnover-prone when forced to put the ball on the floor or pass. He has really looked bad lately though and dare I say I'd rather have (gulp) Meyers out there?

Teams are taking away his primary move. Pay attention next game and see how they help the moment he makes his move. They go for the swipe immediately when he makes it to the center of the paint. I think Stotts has to create a back pick and tell Kaman to make that move immediately, so that help doesn't have a chance to get there. He's not quick enough to get past that help, which is why he loses the ball.
