If I absolutely had to choose between the two, I'd keep Calderon over Ford. But I'm hoping we can keep them both.
TJ is athletic... but JOSE is got the IQ... great to see.. Jose controlling the game, taking right shots, and setting up his players.... Wuts a stinger, TJ wend down with a "stinger".? wuts that? somebody tell me. is he gonna be ok for next game? i would think so..
That had to be one of the worst calls I've seen all season, considering the situation and how obvious it was. Bosh got totally screwed by the refs on that play. I was so scared, because (1) it looked like Bosh was going to get a technical and (2) that had the potential to get the Nets back in it. But credit our team (especially Mo-Pete) for stepping up and stopping the New Jersey run. We played great at the end and Jose was friggin' awesome (how about getting Kidd to travel in his own half?). Darrick Martin shouldn't have chucked up that 3, though.
Raps WIN! Our PG situation is really messed up right now. Hopefully TJ and Calderon are okay or else we're screwed for game 6.
I don't know about you guys but Colangelo looked pretty pissed. Not sure in this game though, I didn't watch this one.
Raptors win! Holy crap, I was so tense at the end of that. We couldn't buy a bucket for the last couple of minutes, but we just beat them at the free throw line. Despite an bullshit officiating job, the Raps pulled it out on the homecourt! Sam Mitchell, man. You coached an excellent game. You made the right substitutions. You brought out the perfect starting lineup. You made the defensive adjustments and got the team playing their own style of basketball for once. And you even managed to pull out a few new plays on the offensive end, that took me by surprise. I have to give you props, after a crappy Game 3 and 4. But...... .......Why the hell do you call the same friggin' play at the end of the game? We needed a bucket, and with a minute left, and you called the "TJ Ford isolation play" with Jose Calderon on the court! He's not an isolation type player! Why not get him to swing the ball around, take some time off the clock, and run the plays that you had them doing earlier? Get them to move the ball and maybe even get Bosh a touch. Now we Jose with a possible injury and the game turned out to be wayyy closer than it should have.

He couldn't even put pressure on it... Huge blow. Calderon was a huge part of saving us from elmination tonight.

My boy Calderon with 25 points and 8 assists to help the Raps close out game 5 with a needed win. Bosh was very disappointing, but at least guys are stepping up. However, I don't like the way the team played down the stretch of the game where this final score should've been more around 8 to 12 points difference considering their play early on. If this trend goes into New Jersey expect the Raps to get stomped on and I really don't want to see that happening. Good luck in game six, Raptor fans.
