I think it will be difficult also Mess, but who knows right. You play the game and hope for the best. If I were a betting man I wouldn't bet on us, but I will watch and root and hope for the best. This team usually comes up big in spots like that, so who knows.

I do believe that the passive effort tonight should be a benefit in game 6 though. If you can't motivate off that I don't know when you can motivate.

That may have been the easiest SO in playoff history for Bishop...LOL.

They're stupid if they didn't think Tampa would make adjustments coming into this game. It's seriously like the Rangers came in with no game plan. Just go out there and see what happens.

1st period was pretty much the game.

Top 2 lines for TB are the only goal scorers

Exactly Mess, this was there game to win, and they played like they didn't want it. They are an embarrassment!

Like I said, I tip my cap to TB for having a game plan and sticking to it. No doubt they were pounded by Cooper to tighten up on the PK and on D overall, and they did it. AND we played right into it by being soft and passive and refusing to shoot. Perfect storm really.

As for the PP, trash tonight, but it has been great in this series. So let's stop acting as if that was a killer in the series. 6-15 into tonight. We were 5th out of 16 playoff teams on the PP into tonight. So the PP has not been an issue at all this series, until tonight.

It's very simple. Instead of trying to take control of the game they were tentative and waited to see what Tampa was going to do.

The team is still too flawed to be elite

Rangers were their own worst enemy first 35 min of this game and then TB took over. Once again another night where nobody showed up offensively. I learned a long time ago to not write off this team but that was a very disappointing game.

For the record TB played great D the final 25 min but that game was winnable early and they passed the puck around instead of aggressively trying to score.

I thought I heard giggling as well ... I would much rather have MSG calling the games, they suck

That's it. Perfect storm like I said. Played right into their hands like I said. Not much else to add.

You would think back at home they would come out on fire and putting EVERYTHING at the net, but not the Rangers. They did the exact opposite really. And that is darn frustrating to me.

Onto game 6. I think it goes one of two ways. We come out on fire after this waste performance tonight OR we get rolled and go out quietly. We'll see.

I know this team doesn't give up so while I expect better in game six you can't keep putting your backs against the wall. Sadly I think this is the end.

In hindsight this game was clearly lost in the 1st period when TB was doing nothing and we had them back on their heels, and we didn't shoot or play aggressive at all. From there once TB got their legs going they scored and honestly that was that with our lack of O and their focus on D tonight.

I have no idea how they can come out playing passive in a game 5, with the series at 2-2. I just do not understand this team. All they have to do is shoot the puck towards the net, and get in front of Bishop. Why is that so hard for these guys?

How often tonight are you going to keep throwing that fishing line out there? We're pissed off enough without stupid shit like this.

You want to score 1st in an elmination game, so I'll say the 1st goal is real big for us in game 6.

Why AV benched Fast in the third? I don't get that move. Typical crap from this team. They always need some controversy to lit fire under their asses. This core of players is very strange. Our Captain played with his head up his ass all game.
