Alright, unless it starts to rain, thunder and lightning, another baseball game has me on a slight delay tonight.

If Stepan plays I can see him coming out and scoring 2 goals and setting up 2 goals with his second goal being a empty netter as he skates by the Habs bench he stares deeply into Therian's eyes before just smiling and pointing to his reconstructed Mark Messier chin, then pointing to the scoreboard and waving goodbye as he is mobbed by his teammates at the bench...

    fade to black

and by the way, i can totally see Al yelling from the bench to the umpires all game long. "LAST YEAR YOU CALLED THAT PITCH A BALL AND NOW IT'S A STRIKE???? BE CONSISTENT!!"..."WHAT ARE YOU BLIND? THAT PITCH WAS LOW!"

when it comes to baseball I am pretty calm cool and collective, ala joe torre, but football..when im on the sideline im very...very loud. Everyone knows who Coach Al is, and yes I have had a couple of flags thrown at me for complaining rather loudly at the officials.

Who cares about baseball. Whatever game the Yankees are playing tonight is meaningless and boring

Hoping tonight we get to celebrate a Rangers trip to the finals. Just get shot after shot on goal.

At this point it looks like Stepan will play:

The rest of the lines at practice are (Dan Rosen):

Carl Hagelin, Brad Richards, Marty St. Louis
Benoit Pouliot, Derick Brassard, Mats Zuccarello
Brian Boyle, Dominic Moore, Derek Dorsett

Stepan is skating with Rick Nash and Chris Kreider. (Bruce Garrioch)

Derek Stepan is on the ice for the Rangers morning skate today with a full protection to protect his jaw. (Katie Strang)

Have to stop these penalties. Will be a long night if this continues. Not the start we wanted. Now they have MO and crowd is into it.

    No good.

Not much to say really. We just have to stop the penalties. The refs are calling EVERYTHING on us, so if we give them a chance they will call it. We cannot give them the chance.

The key was stay out of the box. 22 seconds in they didn't listen.

As much as we like to get on the refs in here, when you give the other team 9 PP's in less than 4 periods you cannot blame the refs. Cannot say I blame the refs for 9 penalties. We have to take responsibility.
