Obviously its his job to fire Stotts but I do really like our roster and if its loopy to think we need to have the right replacement on hand before doing so so be it.

 

You like our roster to do what? Win a series? This roster is a MAJOR piece way from being a legit contender and the assests (draft picks, good contracts) we have to obtain that major piece are getting worse and worse each season. That's on Olshey.

I like our roster a lot better than being 1-8 against the teams ahead of them in the conference...with most of those losses being blowouts. We have more talent than that. We have more talent than being last or next to last in defense.

 

List me the last team to win a championship with only one all-star who was below average height. It's been 30 years. 20 years since a team got to the finals with a roster like that. You may not like those facts, but they're facts.

NBA champions aren't built on 8 average/good players and one all-star.

Agreed. I've never said this team should be 1-8 vs the top 5 teams in the West.

I've been told by MANY people on here that regular season records, a playoff run, etc. don't matter, it's ALL about winning championships. That being ok with any but championships is unacceptable. Well those people need to get out the smelling salts and realize this isn't a championship roster, even if Phil Jackson or Pop were the head coach.

 

our roster is fucking better than losing by 20 nightly to any above average team. the best player in the franchise history and an MVP candidate deserves better than this trash ass amateur coach.

This team is not a championship roster....yet so many fans don't want to even think about changing coaches or personnel.

An MVP candidate deserves a GM who can put another all-star are two around him so he can a legit chance to compete. Not trading two 1st round draft picks for Collins or two 1st round picks for Covington. That's a fail. You'll see when the next coach is here and we still don't sniff the finals.
