Nah, social media isn't mandatory, and news websites are a waste of time reading about things that you can't change. You can block it all out if you really want to, and to stay mentally healthy, and get the best out of themselves, I think most professional athletes should.

James and Bryant are/were both so good that they could afford to get distracted by petty bullshit. Their egos are so big (necessarily so to be that good) that it probably fuelled them, I'm not sure the same is true of CJ.

It's obvious from the game that CJ works better when he's the primary playmaker. He covers so much ground. It just works better when everybody else is playing off the spacing he creates. Wihen Dame comes back I want to see what, his next game is like.

Atlanta wants future picks, not any in this draft. They already have 5 picks in this draft.

I don't know if you saw but @Jade Falcon posted something he saw on reddit with the Hawks fans saying they'd do Harkless and Leonard for Lin, Prince, and Len with no picks involved! There is apparently someone on there claiming to have inside information that a deal is close. I want that to to be true so badly. If we pull that off without including a 1st Neil could use the 1st to dump Turner and go from zero to hero.

Not big on Len but yeah that would be a better deal.

Fans don't make trades so it's irrelevant what a fan is willing to do

    2 things

    1. That Aminu interview about his broken finger was awesome. The guy is a fucking warrior

    2. Someone tells CJ he can pass like that when Dame is playing too

I notice it also hurts the Blazers. Funny how a trade can hurt both teams but this one has found a way.....

Prince didn't impress me last night or Len. I really don't think Prince is any better than AFA or Harmless. He looked awful slow and hesitant, wonder how his bb IQ is?

The Allen Iverson version of the 76'ers that made it to the Finals would probably disagree with that but that is a fairly isolated example.

Harkless/Leonard for Lin/Prince/Len does save the Blazers a good chunk of cap space next season while saving a few dollars this year. They could even re-sign Lin and save money because I doubt there is any way he gets $13M again. It seems like a fairly sideways move for Portland but from a financial standpoint, it helps. So it fits Neil in two ways:

    • Cost cutting/tax saving move
    • Acquiring a former high Lottery pick who is now not very good

well the role he plays alongside Lillard is completely different than the role he plays when Lillard is sidelined. He doesn't handle the ball near as much when Lillard plays.

It proves only that McCollum can be the lead guard and do it successfully on occasion if Lillard isn't available. Reading anything more into it is like reading tea leaves.

So why can't CJ be the primary playmaker of the second unit and come off the bench? Million dollar question right there.

Why can't CJ come anywhere near what he did last night when playing with Dame? Almost two totally different types of play.

Cup, this is the kind of shit post that is really annoying. Everyone fucking knows fans don't make trades.

Some of us like discussing potential trades and it helps to get unbiased views of what our players are worth from other fan bases.
