Yeah. I assume he watches a lot of WWE by the way he acts.

It is nice to see him finally take some steps forward as a player.

Yeah Hark is playing well. He deserves touches when he cuts. Obviously Jake deserves touches, but he is getting them. Last night for instance he got opportunities as soon as he entered the game and that was during a stretch when CJ was on fire.

Aminu does not need more touches. I was fine with his 0-3 last night. He has other roles he needs to provide.

That’s really not saying all that much. Many posters here have set a very low bar....

But Dame and CJ play for a team that doesn't exists as far as ESPN is concerned. So if the team doesn't exist, do the players exists? Mitchel was playing against no one....and still missed.

When one of them does happen to be on a role and CJ was on one of his 5-19 nights, then that is a problem.

Props where props are due. Last night was a back alley beat down. The Blazers looked fresh, sharp and crisp. The game plan was quite good and as much as anything, it helped that Meyers was firing flameballs at will. Next step.....in-game adjustments.

Hey, the odds of CJ making his next shot is not affected by how many of his prior 19 he missed...

Yeah, Mikail Brayniskhov that old guy who once hooked up with Jessica Lange when she was considered the hottest woman in America. Yeah, why the hell is that guy worth mentioning, anyway!

    Saying this for years
A couple of hours before tipoff, I sent a tweet to Meyers which he liked.

Obviously, this put him in a positive frame of mind and directly resulted in his strong play filling in for Nurk, and it sent positive karma throughout the team.

But you don't have to thank me for my role in this win. It was my pleasure.

In summary: Meyers liked your role of “tweeting” him and it was your “pleasure”.

    Kyrie Irving
    Khris Middleton
    Ben Simmons
    Jimmy Butler
    Victor Oladipo
    Kemba Walker
    John Wall
    Bradley Beal
    Kawhi Leonard

that's 9 perimeter players, all of whom are better than CJ. Of course, two are injured, but that still leaves 7

    Giannis Antetokounmpo
    Joel Embiid
    Blake Griffin
    Andre Drummond
    Nikola Vucevic
    Kristaps Porzingas

that makes 15 players 'better' than CJ; 3 are injured. That many injuries aren't likely to be the case every season

and then there is the list of younger players on upward trajectories, and two or three others about the same age as CJ, all of whom would be competing for all-star bids

    Jayson Tatum
    Zach Levine
    Bojan Bogdanovich
    D'Angelo Russell
    Spenser Dinwiddie
    Malcolm Brogdon
    Josh Richardson
    John Collins
    Tim Hardaway
    Hassan Whiteside
    Jeremy Lamb
    Lauri Markkanen

now I know the assumption is CJ would go to some team and go crazy with usage putting up big numbers. The problem with that is if he goes to a good team, there will always be somebody like Dame standing in the way of CJ's usage. And if he goes to a bad team, then he's going to be punished for putting up big numbers on a bad team, the way Devin Booker and Zach Lavine have been punished

I don't think CJ making the all-star game in the east is certain or even likely...but I'd sure like to see him get the opportunity

and, if IIRC, the 2nd tiebreaker with Utah is division record so right now, they own the tiebreaker

I honestly like the rest that is happening. Yes i think Nurk was resting last night. I think Dame rested the last game. Healing bumps and bruises always helps.
