It'l be on ESPN, so everyone, tune in.Lakers' line-up:Starters:Smush Parker<u>Kobe Bryant</u><u>Lamar Odom</u>Brian CookChris MihmKey rotation guys:Sasha VujacicDevean GeorgeKwame BrownScouting Report:-With the Lakers, everything on offense feeds off of Kobe Bryant, but most things go through Lamar Odom. He is basically the PG in their system, as he handles the ball for the majority of the time. I think the triangle really isn't as effective in LA right now, but Jackson has adapted it and made it work. Kobe of course takes most of the shots, but they have rounded up a fair amount of finishers (Smush Parker, Sasha Vujacic, Brian Cook). These players roles are to feed off of the double teams Kobe receives, and shoot the ball. We've got to watch out for these guys. I think Lamar Odom will cause us the most trouble. We know Kobe will put up his numbers, but Lamar Odom will be a mismatch favoring LA. He is quicker and bigger than Wally, and Wally won't be able to do the same things on offense. We won't see any iso's for him; expect to see him coming off alot of screens for his shots. You also have to watch out for Chris Mihm on the boards. He's a consistent threat, and he can get going early and really hurt some teams. How to play them:-I want the other players to beat us. I say we should double Kobe any time he gets the ball, and play the passing lanes as well as we can. If their shooters get hot, we can go at it in a different way, but i feel this is the best way to stop them offensively. If we can get them out of rythm, they'll have trouble.-Offensively, we need to attack the basket, but be smart about it. Kwame Brown is a pretty good shotblocker, but that's it. They aren't deep in the post, so if we can get their bigs in foul trouble, that marks a big advantage for us. If they have to play small, it works in our advantage. We'll have to run to get as many easy buckets as possible, bc we don't want to be the next victim of Kobe going crazy for 50+ points. We'll have to counter Kobe's scoring w/ easy buckets on the break.Key Match-up:The obvious one would be Kobe vs. Paul, but i'll go in a different direction:Wally Szczerbiak vs. Lamar OdomWe know Kobe and Paul will get their's, so it's up to the supporting cast to decide this game. Wally's shooting should be great, but Lamar's offensive skills could really hurt us. He said recently he was going to look for his shot more. Should be an interesting game..Final Prediction:BOS-98 LAL-96
man, Kobe's been getting every call, and he should've gotten a technical at the end. :no3: on another note, i've come to the conclusion that Brian Scalabrine is the worst player to ever put on a Celtics uniform. He's a freaking disgrace. He can't score, he can't defend, he can't pass, he can't handle the ball, now remind me, why the hell does he play? I know we have a man shortage, but he's killing us.
iM Lovin this game..the young guys are really brining alot of energy to the game. Gomes is a <Censored> BEAST
<Censored> yea what a great win what a great job by pierce by not fouling about and being a team leader. Huge plays by west tonight even though he foulded out and some one tell my why the f uck we have scalabrine?
The lakers look like a really good team against Dallas but suck against everyone else. I guess Kobe wasn't hot tonight.

I write them up.Great game by Paul. Thank God for Violet Palmer. no really, i could do a better job than her.Wasn't hot tonight? What do you call 40 points? He was just countered by Paul Pierce.Delonte was excellent. If he wouldn't have fouled out, we wouldn't have only won by one. It's cool to see he's finally getting some recognition: My friend called me up after the game and said, "Wow, i didn't realize how good Delonte was. Does he always play like that?" It made me feel good about the Celtics' future.EDIT: type-o's
Luckily i didnt' watch the game, it would be depressing to watch it live. Odom i have to give him credit, he played well in the 4th but he didn't do that in first 3. Smush too. Kobe was being a passive mofo and when he shot he couldn't score. What really pissed me off was to hear Luke walton didn't pass it to a wide open odom right under the ring. He gives it to kobe who has to shoot a fadeway over 2 people. This is turning into last season, we can't finish games, no defense and stupid plays. Hopefully we can spank the magic to get our pride back. And Paul pierce is a beast but he using his offhand to ward people away which should've been called. He was apparently doing it all game.Oh how i can i forget about him posterizing Mihm Twice. Shame on you Paul, doing that to you're former teamate?
Good game.I thought Greene played Kobe pretty well at the end of the game. Also West came up huge he hit 2-3 daggers before fouling out. He wouldn't let the Lakers get any momentum.
yes, i was impressed by Orien's D; he got right underneath Kobe, and he wasn't just fouling like Tony Allen.Thank God Luke didn't see Odom. I'm guessing Odom would've been fouled, he makes one, and the home team wins in OT. Good thing they passed it to kobe. Paul was using his offhand more than usual tonight. I guess it's bc he had to start his moves from farther away from the basket than he normally does. They were denying him the ball, so he had to come far out to get it.Man, there were some sick dunks tonight. Even Smush Parker got up, and i didn't even know throw it down like that! There'll be a few plays from that game in daily top 10.
Yea, it's real nice to see some of our guys from the end of the bench, like Orien, to come in and make an impact. I was real proud of Delonte and Ryan, they both played real agressive and asserted themselves, something I hope to see them do every night. Seems like we are about to start a real strong playoff push.
