Yeah, I really feel bad for the guy who will be getting an $80 million dollar payday in 4 months. He is SO screwed.

    P.S. I wish I was that screwed.

He can take 53 shots if he makes over half of them like he did tonight. He also played with 2 other PG's and a center who all had around 5-6 assists. The ball movement was pretty good tonight.

I agree with your general point, but I do think Plumlee will end up losing millions because of the trade.

It will depend on how he plays in DEN, but it's only a 26 game sample size, compared to the 147 games he played here in the last year and a half. I think most GMs know what he can do.

Over these last two games....Blazers play different with Nurkic in the game. When he's out of the game, there are possession where they literally pass it around the perimeter for 20 seconds before someone jacks up a poor 1v1 shot. With Nurkic, the high PnR or post up is always an option, and every time they have run a high PnR or post up for Nurk something good has happened, even if they miss the shot.

    I. LOVE. Nurkic.

Watching Big Nurk reminds me of Sabonis.

I know this sounds dumb, but watching Nurkic offensive rebound, and then go back up and score makes me feel like I've just returned from the desert and I've had my first drink of water.

When Vucevic played against us before he always seemed so much bigger than our centers trying to guard him. But tonight he actually looked smaller. And if you go by what is listed he is actually 20 lbs lighter than Nurk.

Getting a wide body was needed. And getting a wide body who can actually move his feet is even a bigger plus. God I hope he stays healthy. He reminds me more of Duck than Sabonis.

Nurkic has one of the lowest dribbles I've seen in a big man...he can back about anybody down in the post

When Vonleh just plays, he can be scary good. Great to finally see him post someone up. I think Nurk will be good for his confidence. I saw Nurk encouraging him a lot tonight and Vonleh needs that. He had a good second half. He is the ideal modern day PF. Strong enough to post offensively, but also agile enough to switch and guard the perimeter.

.666 = The Mark of the Bosnian Beast!

    That's Nurk's TS% after two games as a Blazer.

    His PER is 23.2.

Will he? He's losing a lot of worth playing off bench for Nuggets. He may not get the deal that he was aiming for with us.

Neil has been nothing but awesome. He drafted Dame and CJ. He got Lopez for Aldridge and we made second round. When we lost Aldridge, he put together a team that could still make second round. This year, he addresses needs by getting a guy (Turner) who can defend the guards CJ and Dame can't and a big body (Ezeli). Ezeli doesn't work out so he gets us Nurkic. Neil has been fantastic.
