100%. Billups should be fired immediately.

This is misleading though. I'm not sure about Clingan but both Shaedon and Scoot had their final rotation cut short because of the blowout. If one of them would have got hurt in the last nine minutes of a game when we are up by 40 people would be calling for Chauncey's job. Nights like tonight make the people complaining seem unreasonable.

Do I want Scoot and Shaedon to start instead of Ant and Jerami? Hell yeah I do but that's not the way it has shaken out this season. Do I also wish we were tanking right now? Again hell yes but for some perplexing reason we've chosen this draft to be the one we don't tank for top talent in. Maybe for taking this kick in the balls as fans, we'll get lucky like Atlanta did last season... only this season the prize for winning the lotto is a lot better.

Again though, there are plenty of nights that I'm angry that Scoot and Shae don't get enough run but tonight just doesn't make sense to gripe about because of that insane blowout. If Jerami and Ant were somewhere between 36 and 40 minutes a piece tonight and Scoot and Shae were only at 20, then sure be pissed at Chauncey but Ant was at 26 minutes and Jerami at 29.

Nope. It’s what happens on weekends. It’s also what happens when fan don’t care. Few fans, especially in here, care about Ant, Grant, Ayton. They care about the young players and SEEING them developing on the floor. The Conductor, in his defense, wants to win games, but it’s at the expense of the franchise.

Another head scratcher from Grant. Maybe stick to Fashion Week.

Flip their minute with Ant, Grant and Ayton and I'd be happy.

If the plan is to0 try and move off of Grant & Simons in the off season, it doesn't hurt to play them 25-28 mpg, you have show show case some to keep them fresh for trade value. The youngsters are getting enough min now and will have nights where they get more because of injuries and/or matchups. It's good for the youngsters to pay some dues and earn their increased min. This team next season will be super young and ready to bust out in their 5th year of the JoChaunc. rebuild.

None of this would be as valuable as losing Ant, Grant, and Ayton (even for nothing). Playing the young guys the vast majority of minutes, losing 10-15 more games this season.

Nothing else that happens will make up for that other than just getting Powerball lucky in the draft.

Im sure their plan is to move off of them during off season. I just dont think the draft lottery position is that much of a priority to management and coaching. Joe and Chauncey need to win games or at least show they have taken another good step to keep their jobs.

Chauncey was a great player and one that earn his minutes. He's seen it all with young guys with respect pt, coaching and attitudes.

ok...Scoot had 3 fouls. Sharpe didn't and had the same curious limitations on his minutes as Scoot...at least compared to someone like, for example, Grant

I'm a little curious why Timelord didn't play

He had some knee swelling. Chauncey talked about that pregame.

I dont like it either but I didnt like the way the Joe misled from the beginning by saying one thing and doing another. It's all about his Job security imo.

Yeah, maybe even during the draft to try and get more picks and assets.

so...he played a grand total of 25 minutes over a two week period and that was too much for his knees?

I believe they said it was precautionary. He could have played if they'd wanted him to.
