I think the emphasis is on giving Vonleh a chance to become a trade asset and hoping Leonard can show enough to be able to at least trade him for someone with one less year on their contract. I also think this is a not so subtle tank; I mean who would give Vonleh and Leonard so much playing time if they really wanted to make the playoffs? (BTW, I approve of what they are doing).

Yep! It's sure a good thing we didn't go after him when we had the chance a few years ago!

The way he moves. The way he holds the defender off with his body, while holding the ball out at arms length, then hits the open man or the cutter with the pass. The way he backs in and the lumbering half hook moving across the key. The way he uses the glass. Things like that. Nurkic looks nothing like young Sabonis, but very 'similar' in some ways to Blazers Sabonis. He just needs to add the three point shot (ducks and runs....)

Quite a dispirited crowd here on the forum tonight; rarely see it so dead after a game. Lovers are gone and so are the haters.

What's got into CJ the last handful of games?
He's been terrible. Not looking to involve his teammates. . . .AT ALL.

This game he was especially bad, just downright selfish play.
Both he and Dame seem to think they are better than they are and can just take on an entire team themselves, hero-ball style, and launch any shot they desire 1-on-5.
    And where's the coaching/accountability?? FFS

Maybe our biggest key is Dame and CJ cooperating to fulfill their potential. If they're letting ego get in the way with either one wants to be the hero and do it by himself the team struggles. Before anything else our success depends on them cooperating and playing ego-less basketball
