Your 2nd post that I quoted is basically the answer to why Nurk isn't playing well on defense. Without Harkless playing with the starters there is no one to guard the opposing team's best offensive player on the perimeter, thus Dame and CJ's poor defense is back to being a problem.

In Stotts' defense Nurk is supposed to let the guard take those mid range shots. The whole defense is designed make the opposing team take those kind of shots. This is on Stotts. Dame and CJ aren't helping by getting picked way too easy either. It looked like at one point in the first couple games of the season they had solved this by rotating the defense instead of leaving Nurk on an island having to decide which one of the two players to guard but they've completely abandoned that for some reason.

One side note: I don't understand why a few on here act like we have to choose either Nurk or Zach. We have both and we need both.

Sorry @TorturedBlazerFan, I stalled the Zach Bandwagon Train as long as I could knowing you were running late. However, you took too long to get there and we had to leave without you. Maybe you can try catching it at another stop but as of right now you missed out.

You can't See the difference, that's your Problem. Olshey is great at drafting and scouting, but he's flat out horrible in free agency and signing Players contracts, probably the worst GM in the NBA in that category

There is only 1 Starter at Center, and Zach is a Center in todays NBA, not a Power forward. I don't know how Nurkic would react if he isn't the Starter anymore, we saw what happened in Denver

Really, the worst GM in the league? So Vlade Divac is better than him at signing free agents? Why do you always resort to extremes when trying to make a point?

How many minutes have Zach and Nurk played together this year? I'm pretty sure it's 0 so how do you know it wouldn't work?

Those signings were to help the young guns, nothing wrong with those Players. Much better than giving Turner, Crabbe, Meyers and Harkless 224 (!!!) Million

I don't know if it would work or not, but Zach is a Center und he Must play at Center, no more Power forward

So let me ask you a question, Dame's rookie year should Olshey have signed a good PG to "help" him? Wouldn't after taking Fox at 5 it have been better to just hand him the keys and let him develop?

So that's why they traded George Hill in 42 games for draft rights to who? and signed the upstanding citizen in Zach Randolph.
To help the young players learn the NBA.

    You forgot the green font.

    @hoopsjock
Eric, you forgot Lawson, Afflalo, Barnes, McLemore.
Really it's so easy to find shitty signings the kings have made.

I mean, you don't really have any proof that he can't play PF. I just want him on the court and I don't think it matters what position that he's playing.

    You're fine.

And expect more. For some reason, when prospects actually do well on our team, we get really excited. Some turns into erections, getting-on-knees, and general wanting to marry the player. But, I mean, you know..

I just named a few off the top of my head. I didn't think someone saying Divac makes better signings than Olshey warranted any research to know how stupid of a statement that is.

Wtf, the Kings drafted Mclemore, they did not get him in free agency, lawson came for the Minimum and not for 17 Million as olshey probably would have done. Afflalo was only 1 year so nothing wrong with that, barnes also only 6 Million in 1 year and the other years were Minimum, that's nothing compared to those ridiculous contracts olshey handed out

You do realize Mclemore played in Memphis for the 16-17 season right?
So yes, the Kings traded for this fool after letting him go for nothing.
Lawson & Barnes were outstanding citizens to help that young team learn.
Afflalo was gone after a year.

Stop trying to change the narrative. Kings are ass from top down. They can't draft, sign worthy free agents, or make good trades.
NO is 100% superior than Vlade.

And whats wrong with signing Mclemore for 1 Year? It's not a 4 year Max, it's only 1 year for 5 Million wich is almost nothing under the Salary Cap. Stop comparing those signings to olsheys ridiculous signings from 2016!

    You're a funny dude.
Ben takes away minutes from Jackson, just like Bjelica takes away from Giles/Skai.

As a rebuilding team, taking away minutes from your 1st rounders who you drafted to be the future of your team.... is just as ridiculous as you're making NO's signings out to be.
But it doesn't fit the narrative you attempt to create with every post so...
