I wonder which Nurk version we ll get. he needs to bring his A game now that Valanciunas is back. No excuses for Nurk, no more of the 10 pts 8 rebounds stuff it was pathetic as long as it lasted.

 

If we have ambitions to make a deep playoff run, we shouldn’t care about anyone on the Grizzlies roster. But we suck unfortunately

 

nurk didnt averaged much attempts per game (thats why his ppg were down) which is either his or stotts fault, but as far as rebounding goes, he was never "greedy rebounder", meaning he likes to clear space in order for his teammates to get the rebound, unlike kanter or whiteside who always go hard for the rebounds... the point is this: who gives a shit who gets the rebound, nurk or someone else, as long as its portland trail blazers player

however, given what nurk said after the game against memphis, it seems like it was a coaching decision to play him like that

 

Missing easy shots like crazy is 100% his fault, not Stotts

 

They are reportedly resting JJJ so maybe that's kind of a push. The way we've been playing and the body language of our team, it wouldn't surprise me if this was another loss. his atrocious free throw shooting improved lately, which is showing he needed some continuity to get his rhythm back and we saw how good of a free throw shooter nurk was in the 18/19 and then in the bubble, so i fully expect his offensive game or should i say scoring ability to improve with time, rhythm is everyting
