unfortunately every fucking game thread is a bitch fest for the last two years....memo....a lot of folks did change schools around here and thinking you're Hubie Brown doesn't make you Hubie Brown....even Hubie should shut the fuck up during a game once in a while....Terry Stotts knows more about basketball than any forum member around here ever knew....don't like him...yeah, we get it

 

Am I wrong for being upset that we missed out on the chance for a huge win because we made what I see as a bad switch? A win that I really wanted the team to get?

No, good that someone who blames me for the shit that other people start with me finds it unreadable. Because hopefully you'll find a forum where people talk less shit, or you'll put me on ignore. Maybe these 'random people' represent the general concensus of the forum. They are inicent bistandards who are trying to give honest feedback of where the 'discussion' went off the rails.

When more than 2-3 people indicate that you're taking it too far, maybe a little self-introspection is in order and its time to tone it down....

I appreciate your contributions and knowledge that you share. I agree with you on many topics, but far too often the conversation devolves into proving that 'I'm right & your wrong'

 

I get what you’re saying but CJ is who he is. He’s an elite offensive player. I’d take him on my team any time.

 

Hey, I dislike Bones' conversational style as much as anyone. But this is simply untrue. He (and many others) have discussed - ad nauseum - all the various reasons why Stotts sucks. You obviously don't agree - but that's on you, because the opinion is WELL backed up.

 

Everybody's talking about what a game it was. I really don't give a shit. Our shooting was really the only reason we were in that game. Dame and Nurk beasted the other game while the rest of the team was garbage and we still won. I want to see this team running like a well oil machine come the playoffs. If we lose than I we can still say we did our best. But to watch one of our best players get into four trouble while another is stuck at the border... FUCK THAT. I am sick of looking for the silver linings in every season. I want to play up to our potential and overcome adversity. DAMN THE TORPEDOS! FULL SPEED AHEAD!

 

Think it's funny that you wanna hang a loss on the only guy who actually kept us in the game.

 

I do think they took Nurk out of the game, which was a huge favor to TOR. But I wasn't expecting to win this game anyway, so I'm pretty pleased to have lost on a buzzer beater when we had a couple things already stacked against us. Woulda been nice to win if Terry OR the refs did a slightly better job, but the end result matched my expectation so no skin off my nose.

 

This guy gets it.

 

We pretty much have every season for several years as many websites had us finishing out of the playoffs this year and yet here we are, 4th in the tough west.

 

I've never based my expectations for the Blazers off of what the national media says. If we measured our capabilities in this town by what outsiders said we never would have even gotten an NBA team.
