And back to 5th since Lakers lost.

 

The team has definitely looked better over the last four games. I hope that we can get some more W’s against quality opponents and ride that momentum into the playoffs. Great game from our guards and, again, Melo’s offense comes through in the clutch.

I know this is tracked somewhere, but I'd be really curious to see how Tatum did when he was being guarded by Dame tonight. I thought it was a mistake when they switched Dame to Tatum, but it sure seemed like Dame did a decent job controlling Tatum. Maybe I'm recalling that wrong

I don't think it's fools gold because I don't think it's gold. The fact that they've played much better since the "enough is enough" thing can't be disputed. Is it sustainable? I don't know. What I do know is that you're right about the playoffs. I do not think the team that we have, playing at this level, can win a first round series against the Nuggets, Clippers, Suns, or Jazz. You're also right to feel like there's still a good chance that we end up in the play-ins where we could definitely lose. I know that's your desired outcome and I don't blame you for it.

Sorry I’m a little busy on the weekends with my 9 month old. She gave everyone a cold so we’re just trying to get through it. Fun times.

Theres nothing “you’ll see” about it. Everyone already knows when the Blazers face a better team in the playoffs there’s a good chance they’ll lose and they could even miss the playoffs. You pretending to know we will lose in the first round is just that - you pretending.

 

Luka and Carlisle got ejected from last night’s game for calls on Luka. Honestly if you look at the decrease in calls for Luka since last year he may have more reason to be upset than Blazer fans.

 

This seems to be a bit harsh? I think they will make the playoffs.

Yes it’s not possible imo. Defense sucks. Melo and kanter still play together. Nurkic isn’t completely reliable. Coaching has been an issue for awhile now and will continue to be.

 

There were 30 seconds left in the game and Luka got tossed because the threw the ball from under the Kings basket to the other side of the court. Luka then screamed at the ref about the delay of game tech and Carlisle went ape shit after Luka got tossed. Game was over. It was Kabuki.

 

If you can't imagine at least one of them on your own, you might have another problem besides your ball-hogging, Carmelo.

 

I didn’t see the game just read an article. Even if he got tossed at the very end when the game was decided, it sounds like he was still pissed about an earlier offensive foul. Point remains every attacking player faces lots of missed and bad calls. Doncic is nearing suspension and I bet most of his T’s are on non calls or bad calls when he’s got the ball.
