There was a time when a guy like him would drop 50 on us and then sign a max extension the next day. Glad those days seem to be over!

    Nurk is not "still good"

Dame would he a huge loss.
But obviously we could handle losing Nurk?
    Is that your point here?

If all the teams were healthy at this point in the season it would probably be the first time in NBA history. Injuries ARE a part of the game. That’s why I find it tiresome when, in the first half of the season, some fans get down and want to start tanking. It’s the best healthy team at the end of the season that wins the title, not the best roster on day 1.

I like them both. But to your question about efficiency, Ed shoots 58% overall and 61% in the 4th.
Nurk shoots 48% overall and 46% in the 4th.

I think Stotts goes with gut feel/hot hand/matchups/plus-minus for his closing lineups (notice, Shabazz has been in recently more than Hark and Aminu, but we're not talking about that much), and I think that Ed's more than held his own. It may actually be (just spitballin') more that Collins has earned Closing Time PT over Aminu and Hark, and Ed's a better fit with him than Nurk. :dunno:

We have to keep contract price down. No need to play him if we can re-sign him cheaper.

So because a team like OKC has 3 big names (two of which are probably top-5 most selfish players in the league), we should just anoint them as better than us even though they haven't done shit this year and are performing well below expectations? Why even play or watch the games if you are just going to crown teams like that as paper champions. So stupid, you've completely jumped the shark.

Reminds me when the L*kers added Gary Payton and Karl Malone. Almost everyone said no need playing the season, they will win it all. And how did that turn out?

Or the Miami Heat when they got LeBron and Bosh. They lost to Dallas of all teams the 1st year, almost lost to SA in year 3, and got killed by SA in year 4.

Idk, we beat OKC in OKC without Dame. No excuses. Quit making excuses for other teams.
