    the game against the Clippers is actually an important game. If LAC manages to beat Boston tonight, they'd only be 2 games behind Portland. And if they beat the Blazers, only 1 game behind and they would own the tiebreaker

    conversely, if they lose to Boston and Portland they'd be 4 games behind and Portland would own the tiebreaker...so 5 games behind, and they would only have 12 games to make up the difference.

    You can't say stuff like this because then when you point it out after the game you get responses like...

    Other teams lost to the Clippers too!!!

    We're still ahead of them!!!

    Do you expect to win every game?!?!?

    Blazers won 5 in a row two weeks ago so this loss doesn't matter!!!

    Quit trying to change what happened, that's revisionist history!!!
