Season ticket holders got a promo code - not sure if we got different codes and times depending on how long we've had the tickets or not - mine was at noon. That said, I only managed to get LA and Denver tickets - had errors for SA and Houston but didn't want those as bad so worked out.

In the beginning it'll be a boost, but if there's not a steady increase then it won't mean much in the playoffs if other teams are allowed to have more fans than us.

AD sat the second half of the game with Back Spasms tonight. I wonder if he will try to go tomorrow night.

He sat after nine minutes. He tweaked his back because he was backpedaling and stepped on the digital signs that were pretty close to the sideline. I'm sure they're doing treatment on him right now and if his back has calmed down, it won't be an easy game for us.

So the Blazers might have got a little luck. Lakers not so healthy right now and having to play hard just to stay in the Playoffs. The Lakers looked out of sorts tonight.

Not in the slightest. A trap game is one the players (and fans) look past, to their detriment. Nobody is looking past this game; everyone understands how important it is.

They lost last night. AD was injured. We have the same records. Obviously, it's time to notch this game for playoff advantages and to piss LeBron off..

So fans matter more than players or coaches?

i mean, it's a false premise. if home fans mattered so must, why do we keep winning on the road against teams that have had fans in the stands since early in the season? Are they trying to say only PORTLAND fans matter?

the logic fails on pretty much every leg.

Also, it would not surprise me if Lebron magically makes a surprise appearance today. I don't believe his absence recently was due to injury.

It makes sense to me. I have thought the same all year. The fact that a small percentage of fans are now allowed in arenas does not change things in my mind. It is still no comparison to what it was in previous years. 2000 fans spread out through the building is still going to seem empty. Maybe it will make a difference tonight as it is the first time, but after that, I do not see much of a home-court advantage anywhere other than Denver and Utah.

I'm thinking they will increase to 20-25% by the Playoffs? 20% is 4-5000 fans. That should create a home court advantage.

Chuck on last night's Inside the NBA:

"Blazers gonna beat the Lakers like they stole something".

    Loss tonight guaranteed.
