When Rempe is your most improved player it speaks volumes about the lack of commitment that other players on this team have.

McDavid never ceases to amaze, quite a wide talent margin between him and the Rangers #1 overall. Vinny needs to stop swinging at the puck like a Gashouse Gorilla.

In a lot of ways, it is luck, when you get the # 1 pick is there a generational or dynamic talent available. The Oilers got lucky in a year they had # 1 overall, McDavid was available, same for the Leafs with Matthews, and the Avs with MacKinnon. I cannot be disappointed with the Rangers for taking the clearly rated by all # 1 player, Lafreniere. If you look at the top of the 2020 draft, only Stutzle really stands out so far, the rest have had ups and downs.

If they keep Lafreniere, the Rangers need to hope he dedicates himself to working hard and improving his game, along with upping his emotion/passion level overall.

I would argue Cuylle is our most improved player, but the point still stands, outside of Rempe and Cuylle I don't see many players who have really stepped up their games from last season.
