He's looked sick and a bit gimpy. Season is wearing on him for sure and he's definitely been loafing more on defense lately. This home stretch coming up should help refresh him.

NO game was good, but outside of that, he's been thoroughly outplayed the last few games.

The biggest play of this game was the last play when Dame decided to chuck instead of drive to the hoop.

Major mistake and cost us the game. Maybe the biggest single decision making fail by Dame this year in my opinion. How do you not drive for a better percentage shot and possibly get the foul?

    Ughh... This one stung....

Btw I told you guys watch out for this. Dirk killed us like usual because of this shit right here with our guards.

    Stotts has TERRIBLE defensive scheme

Aminu is a weakspot. He really should be a reserve. Though his has improved his 3pt shot to mediocre level, it's still not something you can rely on, he lost us the game last night missing so many wide open 3s. Imagine if it were Ryan Anderson or Chandler Parsons taking those.

He's not a very good finisher inside, and basically has no handles. He's 25 now in his 6th year in the league, and if you compare this season to his rookie season, there's very little improvment.

We missed 10 free throws, and dallas shot 60% from 3. Damian chucked up a lot of bad shots, and Henderson/Aminu missed a lot of wide open 3s.

The Mavs would double our ball handler off the pick and roll and frustrate the Blazers offense, while our defensive scheme resulted in Nowitski being matched up one on on one in the post against a Blazer guard. Stotts never adjusted, so we were out coached big time.

    I'm done with Stotts.

    He's a fucking idiot.
I don't care about the hype, i wish he'll get the boot at the end of the season.

Well sure Ryan Anderson hits more of those three's. But then we'd have a far worse defense. We'd probably give up 140 points. Offense isn't this teams biggest problem; we are top 10. We are below average defensively. You want to remove the best defender from our starting lineup and replace him with a bad defender?

I've been saying this all along, people don't pay attention to defense nearly as much as they do often. The Warriors play great defense. Their offense isn't the only reason they won the title.

What evidence do you have that Aminu is a good defender, or that Anderson is a bad defender? Aminu is actually +.6 overall in his defense and Anderson is -.1

Anderson's net effect on the score board would be much greater than Aminu's.

Oh yes most certainly. Anderson is a superior player to Aminu. But Anderson will be paid $20 million per season and Aminu makes $7. If we bring in Anderson thats basically it for this roster. Is he the piece that makes us close to a contender?

Anderson fits great with an elite defensive team that desperately needs shooting. We have enough shooting; sure it would be nice to get more but we have other deficiencies with this roster that need to be addressed. With Anderson on a huge contract and DameCJ both starting max extensions soon we wouldn't have resources to construct a balanced team.
