I had to rewind it but my son CRACKED me up.

He said: "Melo didn't want NONE of that Papa!"

Nurkic had such a big impact on this game in the last few minutes. He made big play after big play on both ends of the floor. Blocks, forcing missed shots, key rebounds, making our offence flow better. As much as I love Ed, I don't think we would have won this game if he was in there at the end instead of Nurkic.

I think using a rude woman as a derragatory word is archaic. Next you're going to tell me all the Micks and Wops need to go home too.

The only problem with the way Nurk is playing as of late.....is his next contract (and teams offering it to him) dramatically increased.
We need him to suck in the playoffs. Maybe lose his composure and punch Draymond.......

Not a problem. I've been saying for a while that Nurk is going to get the max. He deserves it and Paul won't have a problem paying it.

I'd rather go far in the playoffs and pay Nurk.

Bitch is a sexist word. It's only used to describe a woman who's not taking any shit or a man who's being weak. It can also be used to describe a woman who is actually being spiteful.

But yes, it is sexist. People are still coming around to understanding this. It's the next word to go IMO but it's gonna take a lil' time. I'm actively making steps to remove it from my vernacular.

It's sexist and probably should not be used. But it's going to take some time to go away. In the meantime, I see no reason to condemn the user of the expression unless context tells you it was meant as a sexist expression.

My problem is that it feels good to say it. It's fun to call a weak man a lil' soft ass BITCH! I like to say it to LMA... :smiley-cough: I'm working on my character flaw.

I didn't feel like i was condemning anyone until it turned into a deeper discussion. I believe I agreed with the sentiment.

We all have character flaws. There are no exceptions.

The admirable trait is one who either knows it or is willing to entertain the thought on the subject. The close minded person is to be pitied.

Thanks for the clarification and accept my apologies for barking up the wrong tree.

However, it did spark up a good discussion.
