Game Thread GAME# 74: CLIPPERS@ BLAZERS - APRIL 1, 2015 - WEDNESDAY, 7:00 PM (PST), KGW & NBATV

I just don't feel that negative at this point. Batum finding his old productive self is huge. Afflalo is playing with more confidence and being integrated into the offense. Kaman is playing with more passion and hitting shots again. Damon is going to the basket more and also seems to be looking for assists more. Freeland is back. So there are a lot of positives. Defense seems to be the problem. Hopefully the problem has been that Stotts has been trying to keep the defense simple until Afflalo learns it. I am hoping her realizes that his defense is very stagnant and predictable and teams are attacking it's weaknesses. Hopefully he is learning that you have to change things up sometimes, especially when the other team has a hot hand player or when they keep doing the same play over and over. I think we will see in the next half dozen games if this team has the stuff or not. I am still hopeful.
