Who the hell thinks Meyers is a bad person? I can people wishing he had some Laimbeer-like qualities. But he's a sweetie who let's his dog run through press conferences.

Alright, alright......I just think he overcompensates for his lack of self-esteem and low self-confidence with arrogance, which in turn makes him into a giant douchebag. And that in itself wouldn't be so terrible....if he could back it up on the court. Which of course...he can't.

Personally, I think he's a major douchebag. I know what I'm talking about: he reminds me a lot of a buddy of mine who had the same problems: couldn't do anything right in life and had horrible self-esteem issues, which he overcompensated with by making everything about him.

Meyers reminds me of that. Does that mean he's a "bad person"? No; I don't believe that. But I think he's a douchebag all the same.

I've got no problem with Meyers. He seems cool to me. I'm a bit concerned about the rumor that he has a couple of bulging discs in his back though. I still think he has a place on this team with his contract as well.

I'm a Meyers hater....er realist, so I don't want this to come off as combative.

What about his play has made you think he has a place on this team?

He has great size and can play some defense. He's also very athletic. I know he looks lost out there at times, but you just don't find guys with that size and athleticism out there. I also think his teammates like him.

....I'm sorry, but you're going to have to give a better answer than that, lol. His terrible play overshadows the positives you mentioned.

Also, I don't think CJ likes him. I've seen the looks CJ gives him when he fucks up, and even to the point of giving him the cold shoulder....subtly, but still.

Have you ever met Meyers before? Where are you basing this off of? I've met him a couple times and both him and his wife are some of the nicest people...the dude lacks confidence on the court. We've all seen it, if he hits his first shot he has at least a decent game...if he comes out and misses then it usually isn't pretty.

The $10M/year he makes isn't you guys' money. You can attack him all you want for on the court stuff but for people to say hes a bad person or a douchebag is just typical internet pussy bullshit.

ML really have limit his play what he does on the court with his injuries. Yes he not best big man in league and I think he shouldn't be playing with his injuries because he doesnt help the team and doesn't help his health at all. He seem like a good guy but I would hate to see him having problems with his health latter in life. Basketball is not everything in life but being able to walk down the street without pain when you get older and be able with your kids without pain that to me is life.

Keen observations of his social media posts, as well as his false "I'm the guy" bravado during interviews, as well as other posters here pointing out various things here and there.

Good for you. I'm sure people thought K-Fed and Britney were good people too. Doesn't make K-Fed any less of a douche.

LMAO. Talk about out of touch with reality. He's lucky if he scores 4 points a game. He had 2 points last night and a -2 rating, and he makes $10 million a year. If you can't see the problem with that, then you don't deserve my pity.

Go change your signature and fade back into obscurity.

We have only two NBA bigs on our active roster. Stotts runs Myers out there for a few minutes in the first half and hopes he doesn't screw up too bad. Then usually that is all he plays.

So you are hoping he will retire and give up the last three years ($30 million) of his contract? If that is even allowed under NBA rules, Leonard might be the one guy who would do it.

I hate to pile on because I like Plums. But he had no answer against big centers when he was with us, even guys like Vucevic. He looked so small next to them. He clearly could not bang with Nurk. The upgrade between the two is massive. I felt bad for Plums when we obviously left him alone 15 feet out daring him to shoot it, and knowing first hand that he couldn't make it.

"Nurk is a genuinely a good person".......Even though he is extremely blunt.

"We now have the keys to the car.....we control where we are going"

Also sounds like ET is vocal out there on D

I find it enjoyable that CJ put up an easy 39 last night and we are hardly discussing it. It is no big deal anymore.
