Take those 2 points any way you can get them, what a sloppy game both ways. Fox looking old, slow and locked in with an NTC. PP 2 for 40 now, MSG should auction off running the Rangers PP for a game during Garden of Dreams.

I needed severe alcohol to get through that game. It’s even more embarrassing how stupid their defensive coverage is when you watch it live

I would love to see Mika go, # 1 on the list, I just don't see how it is reasonably possible to happen. The guy has a NMC AND 5 more seasons remaining on his contract AND an $8.5M cap hit. He may be the one guy on the team I don't think is tradeable unfortunately.

    K. Miller is a simple situation to me, as I only see two real options:

    1. You determine he is good enough to play LD on the 1st pair with Fox, and you re-sign him long term.
    2. You determine he is not good enough to play LD on the 1st pair with Fox, and therefore you must trade him.

I think # 2 is BY VERY VERY VERY VERY FAR the best option. It makes zero sense to me to re-sign him to play on the 2nd pair. I feel very strongly Schneider needs to be in the top 4 next season. I know +/- isn't the end all be all stat, and it isn't 100% apples to apples between Miller and Schneider, but Schneider is a +11, best on the whole team, meanwhile Miller is a -5. It is not smart asset allocation to have Schneider on the 3rd pair, he has to be a top 4 dman next season, which means Miller needs to move up with Fox OR he must be traded. I really see no other option. And remember, you either commit to Miller long term this summer, or he gets traded. The time for that decision is now, I think.

It's why I am advocating for K. Miller and Kreider to be traded this summer. Those are the guys I would target, while acknowledging everything should be on the table, and it is highly likely Mika is untradeable due to his contract/NMC.

Panarin was by far the best player on the ice. It wasn’t fucking close. Zibanejad was an embarrassing piece of shit. There are just way too many players who play that don’t give a shit. You can see there are a lot of players that have quit on the organization. Sad. Perreault was finding his way. K Miller has a ton of talent, but he’s dumb as dog shit. I honestly believe this team doesn’t wanna make the playoffs.

I was talking to one of the security guys there and he said the crowd was actually 16,000 which is fucking pathetic considering what’s at stake. It just goes to show you that the fans don’t buy into this team nor should they.

Totally agree on K. Miller, he has an insanely low hockey IQ. Not sure that's something you can teach at this point in his career. He does have a lot of talent, and in theory should be worthy of 1st pair LD, but he cannot handle it because he makes way too many low hockey IQ mistakes.

I am pissed at Lav for Mika also. Months ago, Mika should have been benched, both for lazy play and for absolutely refusing to shoot the darn puck. Lav had to grow a set with Mika, and he never did, so Mika's lazy refusing to shoot play continued. It is on Mika for playing like a scrub, but Lav never held him accountable either.

Nope. Some dumbass on Twitter mentioned that Emery only had one point this year. I could give two shits. He’s an absolute stud defensively and his defensive IQ is through the roof. Something that our defenseman clearly don’t have.

If you look at the Canadian celebration they looked like little kids on Christmas. Rangers win in OT and looked disinterested. Not good.

Gabe looked ok. Needs a bit of work on his strength in the offseason, His hockey sense and IQ by far the best among all of the kids. Processes the game at the elite level which is already a good sign.

Watched Mika on the PP have two open shots in front and he passed it to Panarin on the boards.
