We HAVE had an easy schedule. How do you think we've won 14 of our last 18 games? It's not just Nurk. We've been playing the Lakers and Suns and Knicks and most of our games have been at home.

As I said earlier, always beware of an "easy" schedule....

Actually, I think this game shows how great we are and how great we can become. Here's a little perspective:
    • We have the youngest rotation in the league.
    • Our starting center was out (Beast).
    • Out backup center was out (Festus).
    • Our 3rd string center was out (Davis).
    • Our 4th string center who is also injured could only play 10 minutes (Biebs).
    • So, we had to play a PF and an SF at C.
    • Our two best players, who are great shooters, had an off night shooting open shots.

The result? We lost by 1, our best player missing a midrange jumper which would have sealed it, on the road when their 2 best players had monster games.

Lillard is a fantastic player. But your absolutely right. I don't understand why they don't clear out Iso it for Cj in these situations?

Why can't Cj shoot it for the game sometimes?

Lillard is a fantastic player but those shots you showed are from a long time ago

No. It was because of nurk. Directly and indirectly.

Man how the hell is Meyers Leonard an NBA player? What's the difference between him and the best Dleague center right now if he got a shot in the NBA?

I hope they battle the last few games but at the same time without Nurk, it will not break my heart to miss the playoffs.

Are you sure? I believe there are like 7 teams within 1 game of portland (league wide) in the loss column. And a couple more within 2.

Definitely not a loss that shows we became horrible again. We are still much better than we were before and it was an off night for both CJ and Lillard and we still could have won. Aminu was really great and did whatever possible, but still KAT destroyed as in the paint. This game would have been a blowout against us before the ASG.

CJ hit a winner (a floater) in Dallas. And I forgot Dame hit a winner (also a floater) against Denver early in the season.

Man.... That was a tough loss. MyLi just stood at the top of the key without penetrating which would open up an option for pass, score and or rebound. Nurk is Missed. We lost by one on a lot of missed opportunities. Nurk would have given us at least 10 more points and his rebounding on both sides of the court would have been substantial.

KAT is really a skilled scorer, but he's really one dimensional. He's black hole -- can't even count how many times he missed open shooters or cutters. Wiggins is the same way.

These guys are really young, but I think Rubio is their best player. Terrific defender and really the only one who gets his teammates going. Trading him for DRose woulda been disastrous.
