I think its the opposite; no champion has gone without losing to a single team twice in NBA history. In other words every NBA team has lost to an opponent twice. '96 Bulls lost to the Pacers twice. Warriors are trying to set that record by not losing to any team twice in a season. Either us or the Spurs have the chance to prevent them getting that record. I suppose theoretically Memphis as well.

Although its less of an impressive record in today's league with 30 teams. Now teams play conference opponents 3 or 4 times. Back in the day it was a minimum of 4 games sometimes more. In 1957 the Celtics and Knicks played 12 regular season games.

The trick is doubling Draymond while still tightly guarding the 3...the Warriors are going to try and catch us here all night

Win this one and they draw the Clips instead of OKC in the first round.

No Bogut tonight? Don't worry Speights will probably go off for 20. The key to winning this game is being able to weather the storm that will come in the form of a barrage of 3s at some point. If you look at how the Celtics won the other night, it was because they were able to match Curry shot for shot when he went off in the 3rd quarter. It's those runs that almost always bury teams and they weren't able to do it against the C's.
Without Iggy and Bogut, this team is very beatable. You need the Blazers bench to outplay the Warriors bench. Without Iggy this is doable.

Small ball. Up and down. Should be fun to watch. Curry is always on. Klay can catch fire like no other. I'm actually pretty hyped for this game. I think it's a loss but I believe a win is possible

    REST DAMIAN LILLARD

The upcoming games are really much more important than having Dame burn energy now in what is almost certainly a loss no matter how well the Blazers play

Exactly. Defense is our problem. We can score easy on them.

I wish the game was in Portland. The Warriors are 36-1 @ home. Obviously, the public opinion is tilted towards them. If we can keep with 6 points in the last two minutes we have a possibility but it would be small. I still want a Blazers win but I see Warriors by 5 101-96

So you're rooting for the Blazers to make the playoffs. Good. But there's no reason to rest Dame. He gets 8 off days in our ten days before the playoffs. Rest is coming. Unfortunately, Houston won today so tonight's game is important. The playoffs aren't locked down yet.

So what happens if the blazers play really well and win? That does count, right? That wording is weird.

I might tune in for the 4th quarter and see if it's close, but don't really want to invest 2.5 hours in this....

But you want to spend 3.5 hours complaining about it?

How about you enjoy the journey instead of seeing if they reached the destination. Wtf is this?
