And hasnt Dame been on his case to shoot more? CJ even met w Terry to set up more looks for AC. Team recognizes his impact. He needs to as well.

We got a glimpse of what GS fans feel like when Klay goes off for a quarter or two lol

Crabbe forcing his shot will just drop that correlation down... it's because his shots come in the flow of the offense that his shots are linked do strongly to our wins, even more than his FG%.

He sometimes turns up the defense, depending on the matchup. He isn't good against hyper athletic guys but he has held his own against guys like Harden and Klay.

I like Crabbe. If he would develop a good mid range shot to go with his 3 point shooting I think he could work his way into a starting lineup position.

    Bull.
    Shit.

Crabbe is a liability on defense.

Exactly. Crabbes problem isn't confidence, it's just that not enough plays are run for him. The proof is in the numbers. The more he shoots, the better we are. I've been saying this since I dont know, December, and it's still an issue.

    Underrated performance; turners defense.

Cmon man. He was grabbing big rebounds during that hot stretch. He also has been getting key steals lately.

By the way, guys. Anyone notice Dame had a near triple double?

You just made my case even stronger. He can only make shots in the flow of the offense. He cannot create his own shot. The only thing he can do is stand still and shoot a 3. Don't give me these sorry tales about his defense or any other basketball skill. Crabbe only has one and it was on display tonight. Occasionally, he plays the passing lane, gets the steal and a run-out. That's it. Those of you clamoring for him to start or, even worse, trading CJ so he can, need to have your heads examined.

Liabilities don't make the plays he makes on defense, since you know, they are liabilities.

    The word here is inconsistent.

It's funny how you've called out posters in the past for their condescending tones, well, what would you describe this as?

I rightfully called out a newb for his tone.

With regard to that post, if you would have heard me speaking it then you wouldn't think my tone was condescending.

Dude, wasn't it Crabbe who sealed the Houston game for us when he pickpocketed James Harden?

All this tells me is that he's perfect where he is as our sixth man. Dude is shooting 44.2% from three after tonight; that's 3rd best in the NBA. Your defense would look suspect too if you had Meyers Leonard as your center.

Loved Nurk with the tiny Gatorade bucket on Crabbe. What a great teammate!

One of the big things that has changed sense the break is Crabbe is having some sets ran for him in the game..
He's not just getting looks within "the flow" of the offense.
He's being more used like Redick/Thompson in terms of running off screens.
When he's rolling like tonight it's even more noticeable that Portland is running sets specifically designed for Crabbe to work off the ball.

Granted after Crabbe got his last open look from the top. Minn did a good job staying connected to him the rest of the way.
Portland still ran specific sets for Crabbe, but the offense bogged down.
Kudos for Stotts for making in-games adjustments.
Though I will say, if Harkless doesn't start showing up. He's going to lose his starting spot to Turner.

    That's unbelievable haha.

I got to shoot 2 threes a game in our old school offense. I shot like 45%. I was the 6'5 big man. Nobody would even guard me but I still only got 2 threes a game.
