    His defensive problems are also of concern and appear to be based on sheer lack of effort. I can handle a guy missing shots if he plays hard and finds other ways to contribute.

    Standard CJ performance.

    Only took 9 games to play Little actual minutes, very impressive Terry can’t wait for him to get benched the minute he struggles while CJ gets to jack up 20 shots every game without getting called out ever

    I was impressed by a number of one-on-one defensive stops Ant made. Even that last shot by Irving that put them up five wasn't terrible defense as much as it was a good move and shot by a premier player.

    Taking shots without passing first and without rebounders in position are not good shots. He can draw the defense anytime he wants. Until he learns to use that skill for setting up others it's not good.

    I can't stand playing with guys like that. Why even engage on offense when he has the ball? Might as well go back on defense.

    He did a very good job keeping him in front and contesting the shot. Sometimes good players score. That was not 1M's fault.

    Simons tried but it was terrible defensive strategy to let the kid who's played like a handful of meaningful games go 1-1 against maybe the best isolation player in the game. Really inexplicable coaching there.
