What more can you say about Rodney White and Andre Miller? Rodney hit HUGE buckets for us, and Andre was a monster in the 3rd. Not to mention Carmelo had a pretty good game. We just stole one from Dallas!
Good game Nuggets. The Mavs had a big lead but you all didn't give up. Good game played by Melo as well.
The Mavericks played right into the hands of the Nuggets. Half court sets killed them, and iced Mike Finley, after his great start. 1000th post in the Nuggets' forum.
this team is really good, they never give up even last season when they were still losing, not under this crazy coach Jeff Bzdelik... GO GO NUGGETS!!!!!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting cArMeLo15:</div><div class="quote_post">Meh, I'll go with the Nuggets simply because the Mavs defence is terrible, and if Antoine Walker continues to have bad shooting games, and hoisting shots up every time he touches it then they will lose.. With all that said I'll take the Nuggets by 5.</div> nce prediction!
<font face="Arial">Damn Nugs came back from a 20 point lead. Great game, I saw highlights but I would imagine it was a great game. Melo hit a jumper from the top of the key to give the Nuggets their lead with 2:22 left. Seems as if Dirk got screwed out of a foul on the three, but for blowing a 20 point lead, there is no excuse. Final score was 107-102 Denver. Great game. Except Denver never gave up despite being down by 20 points. Carmelo Anthony hit the go-ahead 22-footer with 2:22 left, then the rookie added four straight free throws in the closing seconds to help the Nuggets finish one of their biggest comebacks ever, 107-102 over Dallas on Saturday. "We kept our focus. We buckled down defensively and tried to get a basket every time down the court," Anthony said. "They left us open. NBA players are supposed to make those." After trailing 53-37 at halftime, Denver scored 70 points for the fourth-biggest comeback in team history. The Nuggets had 38 shots in each half, making 13 before halftime and 25 after. Whoa, sounds like Miller and Walker had some real nice games. Walker looks like he's found a home. Wish he'd pass more though, the Mavericks really need some defense. Like I said in the other thread, wait till the draft I guess. Great win Nuggets! Continue to show how great the pure team that you are. Carmelo sounded like a beast, wish I'd had seen the game. Looks like we won Crossover.
Carmelo was a beast in the first half, but hit clutch shots in the second. Andre Miller took over the second half of the game.
