This was way too easy. I didn't feel threatened once in this game. Big Drew, pending how he feels tomorrow morning, looks like he is ready for big minutes.
By the Way, Trev really needs to practice his jumpers more, he was slashing on Tuesday against the Kings and compensated in that manner, but his J has been real off the last few games.
Can you say efficient? And he's done it on 11/18 shooting. Plus, Pau has 25/19 with 11 offensive boards.
Saying his jumper is "much improved" compared to last year doesn't say much, considering he was an awful jump shooter last year. He's still not a great jump shooter, maybe not even a good one, but he is A LOT better than last year. Still though, he takes far too many jumpers for my liking. He needs to using that athleticism of his and slashing to the hoop instead of taking jumpers.
By the way guys, we'll have snapped ANOTHER win streak tonight. The Nuggets had won 8 straight, but no 9 for them.
Oh I completely agree he needs to slash more, but I'd consider him a good Jump shooter now and I think teams need to respect his shot. It all depends on how his first couple shots go, like any regular shooter. Kobe's night is usually pretty easy to tell by how his first few J's go. Same with Bron, Melo, Wade, and Ariza... I'd like him to slash more, but if the J is there for him, he needs to take it.
