Well the positives after the Hags goal the team played pretty bad. Nobody was really sharp except Hags and Hank. Kreider was invisible for hte most part. Nash was an abortion. Staal and Girardi were bad. Stepan was terrible. Richards? St Louis? Really outside of Hank and Hags nobody really played well. 2 brutal turnovers in a SC Final lead to 2 goals Outshot 20-3 in 3rd. You just are not going to win. I am not sure they are going to be able to win game 2 as I fear the Kings....But they will play better. We have Hank. We have a shot. I expect more OT games in this series.
Yes for 2 periods. They need to show they can do it for 3 periods. For all the good play we got very few decent chances after our 2nd goal...very few.

I don't believe in fearing teams. The bottom line is that they're stepping up in class playing the Kings and need to play better. I said earlier during the game that I saw a lot of failed clearing attempts and turnovers against Montreal. They didn't make the Rangers pay like the Kings did tonight and will during the series if it continues. The game winner was a complete disaster from Girardi on every front. Complete with him panicking and just throwing the puck away from this knees.
No doubt, I give LA all the credit sc, that's the point, they are very good and we simply cannot afford to blow chances like this.
