There's no way Kobe comes back out for the 4th. I think Phil lets the rest of the players finish this game out and lets Kobe have a break. He certainly deserves it if you ask me. While I'd love to see him go for 80 again, I think it's better for him to rest at this point.

So I was wrong. Kobe is back in. Too bad he finally missed. And Mo Evans just nailed a nice trey and threw a nice dunk down...and now Farmar knocks down a trey. Talk about dominance right now. Lakers up by 26.

It's funny, there was a article on BSPN on how Kobe will never be 100%, and tonight he was flaming.

No one argues him being the best offensive, it's best player in general. His offensive play is so astounding that it over shadow's that he's a top 5 defender too.

Tonights game from Kobe was simply amazing. It reminded me so much of NBA JAM when you were on fire. Kobe just would not be denied. After two bad FG % he just lit the #1 team in the NBA up. PURE SICKNESS.

What a game, I had a great time there.

I'm loving the lights out, especially when you sit in the nosebleed section.

Kobe....well, what can I say, what a performance. It would be an understatement to say he made up for the past two games.

We got a nice MVP chant going end of 3rd.

We gave a real nice ovation for Ronny Turiaf when he first came in, love that guy.

I really wish I wasn't so broke, I wanted to drop $500 bucks on Lakers -4 tonight, just knew they were money.

Great game overall, if we beat Clippers on Saturday, I'll be one happy dude.

What a load of crap. Kobe is definitely not a top 5 defender. If anything, he's overrated on defense.

    Simply amazing.

I haven't had time to catch many Laker games this year, but I'm glad I caught that one.

The best offensive player in the game, hands down.

I saw that. Absolutely, pathetically sad is what it is. There is just no reason for it any longer. The Lakers are no longer the elite team in the league. Kobe no longer hogs the ball (he had 52 points on 25 shots and seemed to do it pretty much in the flow of the offense). The Lakers are a completely different team without hate magnets like Rick Fox, Horry, or Malone. There wasn't even the usual Jordanesue fist pumping after each incredible play. He just played the game and yet they still hate him. I mean that third quarter was amazing... in many ways because he did not miss in the third I would say it was up there with some of his best: The 81 point game, the three point record, 62 in three against Dallas... Thank you Kobe Bryant!

Lamar Odoms performance was definitely overshadowed by Kobes performance. Lets not forget Odom was 2 assists away from a triple double. Great game by everyone.

It's amazing what this team can do when they play with energy for all 4 quarters. Kobe Bryant is a bad mofo and I don't think there's any doubt he's back to playing elite basketball. He made it a purpose to light AK47 up last night after AK47 commented on shutting him down in the 4th quarter of the previous meeting.

I was hoping Kobe would break Iceman's record for most points in a quarter, but going for 30 on 9/9 shooting and 11/11 or 10/10 from the line was insane. Those shots Kobe was making weren't easy either.

The key to the victory aside from Kobe's brilliance was the energy on rebounding the ball. Utah came into this game as the best rebounding team in the league, if you can't outrebound Utah you can't beat, and the Lakers did a number on the glass last night to put this game out of reach. I know Utah came into this game coming off 4 games in 5 nights, but I'm glad the Lakers took advantage of their weak legs and beat them by the end of 3 quarters.

The bright spot for Utah in this game was Milsaap, this kid was balling it up last night and gets his hands on every rebound. I still cannot believe how late in the draft he went.

I was again disgusted by the play of Smush Parker and I saw Odom and Kwame glare at him a few times after he did his matador routine and let Deron Williams take it right to the rim without any pressure. Farmar outplayed him again last night, but one knock on Farmar is he forces the offense sometimes and it leads to some careless turnovers. He needs to get a little more controlled out there and get his turnovers down. At the rate he's turning the ball over he would average around 7 or 8 per game playing starter minutes, he shouldn't turn the ball over more than twice a game.

Lamar Odom should have had his triple double last night, if Kwame finished around the basket on a few givemes and if Mo Evans flushed that one behind the back pass he received from Lamar near the end of the game. That pass was a thing of beauty, I don't think Mo expected it and didn't let his pogo stick in place to deliver the facial.

Nice rebound game after the disappointing Bucks loss, now we need to take care of the struggling Clippers again on Saturday.

We haven't played well at all since getting lit up by the Warriors, Utah does well when they run the offense, but when D-Will or Fisher dribble the clock out then do a pick n' roll, we become ineffective. If we just run the offense and get layups, we're good. Utah hasn't crashed the boards much like they did earlier this year, only one that is doing that is Harpring and The Paper Boy.

Kobe was just amazing last night, no way anyone could beat you guys when that happens, seemed like on NBA Live when you use that Superstar scorer moves and you can't miss. I guess we're even this year now, but Kobe still yet to score the 4th against Utah [IMG]

Guess thats something Kobe is going to have to work on next game eh?[IMG]
BTW, the Lakers were in that first game against Utah until the final moments when Boozer and Okur took down those big offensive rebounds. I won't saw the same for last nights game Utah had at staples.[IMG]
