Bosh just hit a 3, so its Lakers 97 Raps 96 with 2:46 left in the 4th Q.

Kobe with a nice spin move penetration makes the basket. Lakers 101 Raps 98. 1:40 left

Mo Pete dives into the Laker crowd, but doesn't save the ball. Kwame makes 1 of 2 free throws. 1:20 left. 102 -98.

Lakers get like 3 consecutive offensive boards, Raps foul Kwame as he gets another offensive board. Kwame makes 1 of 2 FTs.

Raps ball, Lakers up 103 to 98. 23.8 seconds left.

Garbajosa with the jumpshot. 103 to 100 with 18.6 seconds left.

Kobe makes 2 FT, LA 105 Tor 100, 18.6 sec

Bosh steps out of bounds on 3 attempt, Kobe wastes 6 seconds off clock dribbling across the halfcourt line. Kobe hits both FT. LA 107 Tor 100. 12 sec

Calderon misses layup, Raps choose not to foul with 6 seconds left. Lakers win 107 Toronto 100.

Can anyone who is watching the game report on how Kobe is looking. Has the rest done him good... is he starting to look like he is back in game shape?

Kobe reminded me of Iverson. The Raps defended both well, but there's so much you can do to limite them. Kobe presence wasn't felt as strong as last season's games, yet he still ends up with amazing stats.

Yea Kobe seemed like Kobe of old to me. Most of his shots were good shots (its hard to tell with Kobe because a bad shot for some players is a good shot for him), he was more agressive than Kobe of last year imo, he was driving quite a bit when he had the ball.

Kwame was doing pretty good doing the dirty work, although he missed some short range baskets.

Odom seemed quiet except for a nice dunk early in the game.

Luke Walton was good for the Lakers in the first half, made some nice penetrations.

I liked what I saw from Farmar, he was quick and could get to the basket as well find the open man. He seems like the kind of player who will develop his game and work on all aspects and become a solid starter.

If Farmar develops a jumpshot that opponents are forced to respect, he'll be deadly.

It looks like it was the Kobe show yet again. He said he would be 95% by the time this game came around. The only thing that concerns me is that he still managed six turnovers. I think they were turnovers due to him being in two minds, whether to pass the ball or shoot it. Our record is now 6-3, hopefully we can extend this two game streak.

Kobe still doesn't have his timing down yet when he jumps or explodes off his first step. He must have worked on his cardio during the four days off, because Kobe didn't look tired at all last night. He wasn't tugging on his shorts like the first couple of days.

There was a scary moment in the game when Kobe collided knees with Calderon and winced off the court for a minute.

What I've noticed this season is Kobe is more patient on offense. He's using angles well to catch defenders on his hip and it allows him to get right to the rim. Even if he misses, he'll get his own rebound, because the defender is completely off balance.

Ok. Still pretty amazing what he can do at less than 100%. Is it looking more and more like he bulked up in order to drive effectively to the basket and finish? More Wade-like?

His upper body is bulkier than last season. Kobe's spending more time around the paint this year, so it explains why he's getting more rebounds this season.

I don't think Kobe is ever going to play like Wade, because he doesn't have to. Kobe is doing most of his damage offensively from the FT area and 5 feet from the rim. He doesn't have to take it to the rim, and get hit to score. He's using a change of pace dribble when he gets in close to force the defender to run into him or reach and then Kobe gets the basket and the foul. Or he gives a head fake on his jump shot and once the defender leaves his feet Kobe draws contact.
