The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Orlando Magic, 87-85, in the Las Vegas Summer League at Thomas and Mack Center on Friday.

While Oklahoma City led for the majority of this game, it wasn’t decided until the final shot. In fact, the Thunder led for over 35 minutes of this game, as they led by 16 points at times in the second quarter. With that said, the game was within a seven-point margin for the entirety of the fourth quarter, and the game wasn’t decided until the final seconds. Deonte Burton was the hero, hitting the game-winning floater at the buzzer, breaking the tie to seal the win for Oklahoma City. The shooting disparity was huge, with the Thunder connecting on 49.2 percent of their shots while holding the Magic to just 38.4 percent from the field. Defense was also key, with Oklahoma City recording 10 steals and Orlando picking up just five steals.
