I feel like @SlyPokerDog is the non-L*ker version of Kareem. Decades of greatness, key cog in many successes, on the stat leaderboard b/c he's been around so damn long, still useful as he hits his older years... I'm probably a mix of Stockton and Manu. In it for the long haul, loyal to one team, does a couple of things really well (and not the "flashy" ones that get you on SportsCenter) but knows my lane, some spot glimpses of transcendence, but usually happy to support and make the team look better instead of myself. Really proud to represent my country. Can put a team on my shoulders for a little bit if I need to. Those on my team generally think I'm an ok dude. Opponents grudgingly respect me, though most would love to throw a 'bow into my neck. Then you look up at the end of the day and say two things: 1) how did that MF beat me? 2) when is he gonna retire? (PS: And to stop this tomfoolery, I say that @BonesJones pony up $100 to everyone that can hit a backboard on a pullup 3 at the next M&G, or STFU. You ain't the only one who played college --or college-esque--ball here. )
I'm claiming Bill Walton. I'm great in my own mind. Some people like listening to me and others hate me. I hijack basketball talk with my own babbling
You were great like 3 times in 15 years...extended stints on the IR...lost parts of his mind due to various reasons...likes the Dead. (Edit: forgot about "known for being a Portland guy, but moved away awhile ago")
