Orioles pick up rare comeback win against White Sox

<h3>BALTIMORE 7, CHI WHITE SOX 6</h3>CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Chris Ray came through where Bobby Jenkscouldn't as the Baltimore Orioles rallied for a rare victory.

Ray struck out the side in the ninth after the Orioles touchedJenks for two runs in the top of the frame as the Orioles posteda 7-6 victory over the the Chicago White Sox.

Baltimore scored three runs in the eighth and then completed thecomeback against Jenks to win for the first time this seasonwhen trailing after eight innings.

Kevin Millar singled in the go-ahead run in the ninth off ofJenks (2-4). Corey Patterson, who went 4-for-4, led off theninth with a double and scored on a single by Brian Roberts totie the game, 6-6.

The comeback by the Orioles ruined what could have been MarkBuehrle's last start for Chicago. Buehrle gave up nine hits,four runs - two earned - and struck out three.

Buehrle, a free agent at the end of the season, has been incontract talks with the White Sox as of late but has also beenthe subject of trade rumors as the White Sox plummet fromplayoff contention.

At one point during the Monday's game, fans chanted "Re-signBuehrle." Buehrle, who pitched a no-hitter for the White Sox inApril, has been said to want a full "no-trade" clause in anynew contract.

Chicago's Juan Uribe hit his seventh home run of the year in thefifth inning, to break a 2-2 tie. He has now hit safely in hislast eight games, going 11-for-28 during that span.

Jim Thome and Josh Fields each added two-run homers for theWhite Sox. Thome hit his in the first to stake Chicago to a 2-0lead. Fields made it 6-2 in the sixth.

Rob Bell (1-1) pitched the eighth to pick up the win forBaltimore.

Orioles starter Erik Bedard gave up the three home runs over 52/3 innings.
