The White Sox have won four of their last five games, aftertaking three out of five from the American CentralDivision-leading Detroit Tigers. Dye his hitting .317 (19-for-60) with six doubles, six home runsand 11 RBI since the All-Star break. Prior to that, Dye hadgone .040 (1-for-25) in his final seven games of the first half.He hit his 18th home run of the year in the second inning toput Chicago on the board first. White Sox righthander Jon Garland pitched 7 1/3 effectiveinnings to end Toronto's season-high five-game winning streak.The Blue Jays are now 20-31 on the road, having lost seven oftheir last 11 contests away from Rogers Centre.
