I really think Rudy misses Webster. I think nobody is going to the basket for passes and GS is doing a good job of defending us.

Wow. there you go Nicholas! The guy is a project and probably won't get many minutes, but he's going to be a player eventually and possibly make Travis expendable. He's got Travis-like athleticism but can probably play more team-ball.

Thank you guys for making all these posts, especially xericx with the virtual play by play. I'm not watching the game but I can check in here and get a fan's perspective and I love it.

But I hate your avatar, eric. Don't know why. Seems evil to me.

    Go Blazers!!!

I think I've seen more attempts at fast breaks so far in these two games than all of last season.

That's amazing how we were down 10 just a minute ago and now up 1 at the end of the quarter. I love this team.

I'm sorry but I don't like what I see of Diogu

He is what he is. A backup big man. Kind of reminds me of a poor man's young Dale Davis. I bet Channing gets the backup minutes.

And wow.. Bayless needs to stop trying to pass to Joel. Joel's good when he only has to catch the ball and go up and dunk. He can't catch, dribble and shoot.

I know it's early, and I was ridiculed for saying it earlier on Olive, but I'd try to find a way to move Diogu, Bayless, and Outlaw.

Bayless is channeling his inner Jarrett Jack. Travis is laying a large egg.

Here's a thought. Is it actually possible that Batum could end up starting over Travis at the 3 with Webster down?

I just hope I don't see much of Diogu. Can't wait until Frye comes back. (Can't believe I'm saying that either).

I've also been very disappointed with Outlaw and can't wait until Webster is back.

Agree about Diogu and Outlaw, but Bayless needs some time. Most PG's take awhile to get good. ala Deron Williams

I wouldn't worry too much about this, rookies make mistakes and as for Travis, this is nothing new; when he's not hitting his shot he kind of disappears. I think we should just chalk it up to a learning experience ... I'm sure that's all Nate is thinking.

Travis seems to be either there, or invisible. Tonight he is invisible.

I like what we've seen out of Oden, LaMarcus, Rudy, Nicolas and Sergio. The rest seem to not be aware of there being a game tonight. Greg really looked good, and it's a really good sign about how good he'll be.

Diogu is doing pretty crappy. Travis, as I said, is too old to be having these games where he is an absolute nothing.

There is nothing wrong with Bayless IMO. He is very young and trying to learn to be a true PG. I don't mind tradeing any of those guys for the right guy though. Now with Webster injured we probably won't trade Outlaw unless we are getting a really good SF back.

Not only is it a possibility, but everything KPs said about our lineup has a defensive presence at the 3. I don't think Outlaw qualifies, but they'll try him there if he's blowing up on the offensive end. He hasn't shown me that so far this year. I would not be surprised.
