So I've attended Lillard's top 3 scoring nights, all losses but fun to watch.

No he isn't. Curry would have dropped 12 dimes as well as 40 points. You vastly underrate Curry. Dame might eventually be as good as Curry, but he isn't there yet.

Nice effort/comeback by Dame but they gave up 43 points in the 4th quarter. Tough to close out when the other team puts up 123.

Our flow offense doesn't let Lillard take over games like Curry. He only gets to freelance when we're down big.

Curry has freedom because Mark Jackson lets his team freelance. If Lillard had the same amount of freedom as Curry did I'm confident he would average the same numbers as Curry (high turnovers included). They're pretty much the same player at the moment.

Blazers not named Damian Lillard just missed too many shots they should have put down. Matthews was terrible tonight, 1-7 on wide open shots, and he was missing badly. If he just could have made 2 more we win the game. Refs with some really shitty phantom calls on Portland that cost us too.

But Portland really should have beaten this team despite all that, I don't know why they just turn it off/on so much.

Look at the highlights from tonight's GSW game, Curry attacked the rim with great success, Dame is not there yet

Even with that poor shooting, if they hold them under 115, they win. That is a massive number to give up.

What a way to end that game. Thank you for making that ending quiet a bit more bearable Lillard.

Why don't we just let Damian Lillard shoot 3s all game, it's a better shot than LAs turn around fade away bullshit.

Whenever the Blazers need a crucial bucket, they run a play for LaMarcus Aldridge. I think Stotts should consider running a play for Lillard instead....

It's no coincidence that Lillards huge scoring nights only come when the Blazers are down big. If they used Lillard more effectively, he wouldn't have to play hero ball every time the other guys are missing shots.

Sac is fucking with their lottery chances. Pairing a great player from this draft with Cousins and Thomas would be huge for them. We aren't the only elite team they've beat. They beat the Heat as well.

I watch a lot of Golden State games. Curry finishes better than Lillard, but I'm pretty sure Lillard isn't THIS bad at finishing. (he shot much better at the rim last year)

Curry racks up more assists but he also gets a lot of turnovers. Thing is, in GS, the play starts and ends with Curry. Lillard can go three possessions without really doing anything with the ball because our offense is content with Mo Williams or Nic Batum being the primary ball handler. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's a huge reason for Lillard and Curry statistical difference.
