Shaq said after he got there last year that the trainers there had him feeling better in just a few weeks. He looks absolutely huge now but has more spring than he did last year. I thought he was washed up, he could barely dunk from two feet away. Not anymore. Old and huge shouldn't mean better?????? I want to know the difference between their staff and ours.
Nice try. I deal with losses just fine. You deal with them by quitting. And do you really think you've "set [me] off"? Right now, you're my chewtoy.
I think I've set you off in the sense that you're making an ass of yourself for no reason. So far it's nothing but swings and misses from you. First I never played sports, then I played tee-ball for 12 years, then I was a male cheerleader on the football team. Yes, clearly I'm your chewtoy. Stating that a game is over (which basically everyone but you did before me) doesn't make you a quitter. It means you can look at a game and realize that tonight just isn't your teams night. You can continue ranting on my behalf if you like though. Maybe you should revisit the previous pages and try to see how you're coming off. (HINT: It isn't good)
Holy shit did I miss a good thread. I remember a few weeks ago I said a player doesn't suck and that was disrespectful, I'm glad it didn't blow up like this when I did it. This is anarchy. We got people agreeing with Rizzle, King is coming out, boyfriends lying to there girlfriends about solicitors... Wow.
A nice attempt at editorializing, but I wasn't the one who waved the white flag midway through the fourth quarter. We made two runs after your pronouncement, but you had already quit by then. I'm not ranting; I'm mocking you. I too played football, and I did a bit more than get Gatorade for the real players. The difference between you and me--besides the fact I played college ball--is that I never quit.
I'm one of the most optimistic posters in here and I could tell once they went up 12. It was over. I respect the team for doing all they could to get back in the game. I'm glad that THEY didn't give up. But it was over. DaRizzle- is that you in your avatar?
Eric, you're not always an optimist. We all know about your struggles with bi-polar disorder. You're a wildly swinging pendulum.
I don't find any problems wiht someone saying it's over when it is over. I'm all for a Reggie Miller or Tracy McGrady showing in the last 30 seconds, but those are few and far between.
nice. You know, the losses have the best threads in here. Almost no one posted during the routs of the Bulls and Kings. But against the Warriors and Suns, this place really got going. Especially against the Warriors.
You're right maxie. It was just so hard to watch. I'll try not to give up again. I can't believe I did. So unlike me.
