Good win. Little scary at the end. Nice seeing the rookies playing so well especially Pendergraph. Hope Aldridge is ok!!
Normal Blazers fan: Dear Blake, Terrible inbounds play. You're worthless. You deserved that shot you took to your face in the Clips' last possession. One particular Blazers fan: Dear Blake, I love you. Marry me. Why the hell is J-Bay diving out of bounds? Can I kiss that boo-boo?
He's a waste of a draft pick. He never dominated in college, and didn't improve much from his sophomore to senior year. Nevermind that James Harden played at ASU for his last two years...
quick says blazers think la plays vs GS not serious http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindblazersbeat/2009/12/aldridge_leaves_clippers_game.html
He really does seem to have good hands. If there is a ball near the basket, he will grab it off the floor and dunk it. barfo
BLANKY had an OK game. 4-8 from the field, 2-5 from 3pt, and a couple of assists with a steal. Andre Miller, on the other hand, continues to struggle.
Good God. Why was Blake in there at the end instead of Miller? I kept having horrific visions of last year when he choked away the game.
I might have been the only one at the time that actually liked the Pendergraph pick the day he was drafted.
Blake did his best to lose this one for us, but Bayless....the guy that some said wasn't a PG....came through with 14/8
Good game by the rooks, by the way. Consider me grateful for our talent evaluators. I consider myself among those who weren't upset with our draft (hey, we were picking a handful of second round picks), but I was scratching my head and wondering who the guys were (I hadn't heard a whole lot about any of them). Not saying the guys that were available wouldn't have performed, but I thought both Pendergraph (14 boards in 25 minutes - LA doesn't even get 8 in 30-36) and Cunningham looked good (more importantly, as rookies thrown into PT, they didn't look lost). Bayless' shot still is off, but he still scores and he picks up the dimes. Webster and Blake also hit some shots, but of course, in the end, it was Roy stepping it up and carrying the team (as any star should). Another win to be proud of. Let's hope LA's injury isn't serious and hope to see his return on Saturday.
Miller, Blake... Blake, Miller... Can't say I'm real impressed with either this season. Both have had some moments, but otherwise, they both have left something to be desired. Sergio anyone (Maris??)??
No he didn't do well at all tonight really. Yeah he made that 1 nice pass, but Bayless was doing that consistently for Blake. Miller couldn't score much either, just another rough game for him. Bayless definitley outplayed him tonight.
clippers announcers killed the blazers. in the first before la was hurt... they said it should be an easy win. then when la got hurt... they got giddy. then they started saying roy wasnt in the same league as wade or other top options.
