Armon does dribble into a traffic a bit too much and loses the ball, but he did do a good job setting up the offense and looked like a PG out there.

IDK, I liked what I saw out of Armon Johnson too, he has been very solid so far. It's gonna be a tough decision.

It's one half guys...a lot more time before we need to talk about who we're keeping...lets just enjoy the solid play we've seen so far.

fun so far. I am really impressed by Ekene Ibekwe. Armon and Babbit both had some good moments and JP and Dante of course look good. Mills seems so good at some things and so bad at other things.

Something tells me they may both be on the team ... but only if Rudy and Bayless are moved before the start of the regular season.

Perhaps, but at this point, I still take playoff experience > scrub league play.

Pretty much. He has some blatant weaknesses, his lack of size being the main one.

Also with Elliott Williams supposedly a lot better than Armon and Mills, Jerryd is for sure available and expendable. But I don't think they're actively looking to get rid of him.

Where's the fun in that? Everybody knows you can predict a hall of fame career based on a single half of summer league play

At this rate, he could be a starter for the Miami Heat!

Both are not making it since we also have our other first round pick whom will be guaranteed. It is either going to be one or the other, regardless of if both those guys are traded.

Don't forget about the possible addition of Matthews.

I'll admit, I posted that mostly because I knew it would get people all riled up.

No way. One half is enough to see who's legit!

Armon's strengths are Mills' weaknesses, and vice versa.
Mills: fast, good three point shot, press-proof
Johnson: a PEST on defense, penetrates like, oh, Jarrett Jack on steroids. Great +/- so far

Mills has looked pretty good as PG, I must say - some heads-up passes for easy buckets.

If we're judging each player on one half of basketball, I'll take Bayless' 2nd half in San Antonio FTW.

For sure. Bayless was supposed to be a future MVP in the NBA based off of summer league. Just because he may not be a pure PG, he should not get the axe because of what Mills and Johnson are doing what Bayless did in the past.

Yeah, I've been mildly impressed by both guys so far. Johnson because I've never seen him play and only have his reputation to judge him by, and Mills because he was such a gunner at St. Mary's and never looked like a point guard.
