He was smoking tired. He played the entire 3rd quarter. Stotts let him rest as long as he could then put him in to close out the game at about the 6 min mark.

Yeah, they're not fans. I sort of know a guy who camps out for autographs of athletes and famous musicians here in Portland. He also scalps tickets.

Hey Sly, how did the fans react to Roses injury?

I know it wasn't in a typical scenario, where the game halts and the crowd goes silent, but he did leave the court. Was it during play?

One thing I've always respected about Portland fans is how they react to injuries (both of Blazer players and the opponents). Nothing but respect.

I remember going to a game where Damon Stoudamire got injured, and the second after it happened (during live play) you could heave a pin drop in the RG. Sure, he was a home town kid, and used to play for the Blazers (and made himself over as a Blazer), but he wasn't on the Blazers when he got hurt.

I remember seeing people stand up immediately as it happened, and react like it was one of their own family members getting hurt. Kind of a surreal moment for a while. And as he was leaving (iirc, he covered his head with a towel, because he didn't want to be seen crying/showing pain), he got a sizable ovation.

From what I saw, it seemed like it was nothing at first. He just started limping. It's not like before where he was on the ground in pain. I would wager most fans didn't even notice it.

The people in my section didn't notice until someone behind me checked online and read that he wasn't coming back.

thats kind of what I thought (based solely on the highlights). Just was curious if it was an obvious leaving of the game or not (after the initial injury I mean)

It didn't even seem like most Bulls fans noticed when I was reading through that thread on RealGM. Only a couple noticed the limp. It just wasn't very noticeable.

    No. Doubt.

I sincerely doubt these guys with the shoes are going to this trouble at that hour unless they are trying to make a buck. I love that Dame gives back to the fans, but I feel like at least some of those guys are exploiting his generosity.

I guess you can't punish the true fans because of the sins of the greedy. Still, I need Dame to be well rested for tonight's game. And we all know my needs come first.

I'd imagine that Damian in Oakland is probably a different matter than Damian in, say, Toronto or Milwaukee. I'm ok if he feels the need to give back a bit in his hometown.

Wow stat RT @jocktodoc Odds of tearing ACL 1:1750. Once you have an ACL tear, odds of reinjuring repaired knee/opposite knee = 1:33.

I didn't notice it while at the game. After Rose was out for awhile, it was obvious he was hurt, so I checked the Game Thread from the arena and sure enough. S2 came through for me, and I was able to tell those around us that were wondering about Rose.

Nobody noticed he got hurt until somebody tweeted he left for the locker room. My producer hollered at me to see if I had the injury, and I didn't. So I flew back and none of our cameras really got the WHOLE thing. So I had to piece together a bunch of different angles (Zapruder Film Style) and that's what you guys ended up seeing. Nothing like when Greg went down the last time.

Saw a trade suggested on another site. Assuming Rose is done, the Bulls would possibly tear down the team and rebuild. One trade suggested is:

Noah for TRob, Leonard, and CJ.
