    Not just that, but insurance with CJ out. We have no real ball handlers now outside of Dame and Blake.

    I think Freeland is serviceable as a backup PF/C. He plays solid defense, rebounds, sets screens, and generally doesn't hurt the team. He can shoot an open jumper and finish around the rim decently enough. Most importantly, he just knows how to play basketball. He's just got a low ceiling.
