I think he knows that. He may have used that as his opportunity to say the same thing about CJ.

It was an OUTSTANDING team effort on the defensive end. But I saved at least 11 or 12 possessions, where Nic completely locked a Cavs player up. That will neither show up in the boxscore or be acknowledged by the very knowledgeable fans here on S2.

But Houston we have a problem. Not exercising our option on T. Rob ties our hands. We will not be able to match anything that is valued over his rookie scale contract. What if he plays to a level where teams offer him like 6 mil? We wouldn't be able to keep him.

Then let him play and earn his next contract. Possibly use him as trade bait before the all-star game.

Not if we have his contract done before anyone elses. I really dont' expect T.Rob to get a huge offer though, 3y 12-15 sounds about right for him if he continues to show what he did last night. If he doesn't show that on a regular basis then a lot of small deals are coming his way.

But I think that players can talk to teams before contracts can even be finalized right? I could be wrong. Whatever the case, I'm sure teams would be calling his agent.

Yea there is a 7 day period between when Free Agency starts and contracts can be signed. Players can talk and agre to deals in that 7 day period.

Just watched game replay. Felt like watching a san antonio machine, just slowly build a lead dont allow any big deficits by the end of the game you are up 20. This is how we need to play 60+ games this year.

I really enjoyed barton's defense. I think the peoples champ is my dark horse bench guy this year. I really liked the rotation in this game, I think danger will Robinson duo brings that spark the bench needs. Cj still needs work and freeland/Leonard are good insurance bigs if someone goes down.
