Blair would travel back in a DeLorean, make that one free throw, get drafted in place of Oden and make both of these free throws tonight. It's pretty simple and clear rocketeer, and I have to admit I'm a bit disheartened you couldn't figure this out on your own. Insert chess reference.
You're welcome. Don't feel bad. It's just basketball. Maybe we'll go 81-1. I don't know though. Oden and the PG situation are big problems for us right now.
This loss is on two people.... LMA - For hopefully his worst game of the year Nate - For terrible sub patterns, and no offensive sets in the first half
Why wasn't LMA backing his man down and scoring over him instead of shooting long jumpers all night? When Barkley is talking about us being a jump shooting team, he's talking about LMA. Roy's a stud by the way. Yes, he missed that FT, but after that, he got us back into a position to win and Oden/LMA blew it.
Did you watch the game? We were down 1. Only a few seconds left. Oden was awarded two free throw shots. He missed BOTH. We lost. Period.
Hi guys, didn't get to watch the guy on tv but followed it on espn gamecast but I want to know why Rudy didn't get any touches late in the 4th? Rudy scored 16 of first 20 4th quarter points but after that he got ignored on offense as the Nuggets came back and took the lead. Rudy was obviously the hot man in the 4th quarter but again Nate and the 4 other Blazers couldn't see that. Denver still had Lawson on Rudy so why not continue with the hot player?
Oden missed crucial free throws, yes, and it HELPED cost us the game, this is true but this alone did not cost us the game in and of itself. Brandon, Andre and LaMarcus all missing free throws helped cost us the game, and no one grabbing the rebounds after Greg played great defense and blocked NeNe which I believe made it a four point game.
Actually, when Barkley is talking about the Blazers being a jump shooting team, he's talking out of his ass, at least based on statistics and data.
He's pretty underrated because of the knee injuries he suffered. He's not the player he was but he's tough, strong, doesn't back down and plays gritty defense.
I wish LMA had backed up and flailed; apparently Martin would have been whistled for his sixth foul earlier.
