Gutty win with both teams a bit depleted. CJ was finally efficient and had more assists than turnover in what seems like a dog's age. Dame WILLED that 4th quarter comeback.

I thought it was a nice win.

We shot .500 from the field (very good), .357 from downtown (decent) and .870 from the FT (outstanding).

We only turned the ball over 11 times compared to the Heat's 15.

We won every quarter after the 1st, where Ellington thought he was Larry Bird.

Our team was in a deficit for nearly the whole game, but kept fighting. They never got down on themselves, even when the calls were questionable.

Aminu was brilliant from long-range (5-8) and CJ finally broke out of his slump.

Dame never gave up and was persistent in the 4th quarter, attacking the hoop even though he was getting hammered.

I'm glad we won, but the Stotts system will never get us much higher than .500, unless the unmotivated Olshey adds superstars.

Blazer forwards like Ed Davis won that game, despite the stats saying that the overrated McCollum did. Do NOT get rid of Davis to keep Vonleh.

Just about to read this thread. Crazy game huh? So proud of how Meyers played right out of the gate. Scoring, defense, rebounding. Almost didn’t recognize him with the new haircut.

What exactly does Davis do better than Vonleh?

This place has really changed for the worse in my opinion. There has always been some downer guys on here......all they did was bitch. Now, I swear 90% of the game threads are you guys complaining. So strange for guys who just two months ago were talking about HCA and how we were so much better than everybody to have so much HATE towards your damn squad. Can’t figure you cats out. Proud of our boys grinding one out on the road. Showed no quit. Got to see the rookie playing with the big kids and I haven’t looked at tonight’s numbers yet, but I liked what I saw from him out there. #RipCityForLife

    I
I always cheer for our guys to win, every single game, even back when they only won 21 games. No matter how bad they have been at times, I can always find something enjoy and support.

Oh sure, I occasionally get down on a player (usually do to lack of effort) or coach, but those are very specific cases for very specific reasons. I still root for the team to win.

I really don't understand the anti-fan mentality. If you hate the team so much, why do you even follow them?

The negativity around here has gotten ridiculous. If anything causes me to ever leave this forum, it will be that, not any of your schtick.

Nothing. Slightly better offensive rebounder? But it’s not like Vonleh isn’t a beast on the boards himself.

But I’d be shocked if Davis was still here after the deadline. He’s the easiest path to get under the tax.

I can’t express the sentiment to him because he blocked me on twitter after I espoused to him, multiple times, how horrible he was for canning Mike & Mike

Looking back I had every reason to be as incensed as I was. I didn’t connect the dots to total corporate takeover but it felt so wrong from word go

I had called it a while before... but he just came across that way. Was hoping I was wrong, but everything feels so distant with him.
