REDMOND, Oregon (Ticker) -- Linas Kleiza scored 34 points tolead the Denver Nuggets to a 133-125 victory over the PortlandTrail Blazers in a shootout in the final preseason contest forboth teams on Friday.


Allen Iverson added 31 points and 10 assists for the Nuggets,who led the game by as many as 30 points with 9:08 remaining inthe final period.


Carmelo Anthony, Marcus Camby and Nene were among the regularsthat did not see any time on the court for the Nuggets, who willhost the Seattle SuperSonics on Wednesday to open the regularseason.


The Blazers stormed back into the game with a 26-3 run over thenext 6:55 to cut their deficit to seven with just over twominutes remaining.


Travis Outlaw scored 23 points to pace Portland, which willtravel to San Antonio on Tuesday to begin its regular-seasonschedule against the Spurs.


The reigning Rookie of the Year, Brandon Roy, did not play.
