"I liked the way it went," Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said. "Westarted off by going right down the field, and then we had afoolish penalty that put us back. Offensively, outside ofpenalties, we did a good job. We ran the ball great and Sam wasoutstanding throwing the ball."

"Defensively, they had us on our heels at first, but we settledin and played quite well," Stoops said. "I think we will learnfrom this and improve in the areas that we need to. We gave upsome big plays with deep passes, but then we started to createsome turnovers and made some plays to force interceptions."

Bradford found Iglesias with a 46-yard strike to cap a quickthree-play, 50-yard drive to make it 14-7. The freshmansignal-caller was 15-of-21 for 242 yards with one interception.

"We can always improve things in the red zone and try toeliminate the penalties," Bradford said of his team's success."I have to try to eliminate the turnovers the best I can becausewe had points on the board in the first half, but I had acostly interception. I need to limit those."

"I think we have a lot of things to learn," Smith said. "As youwill see on film, as with any loss, we were real close on a lotof things, and that is why I think we didn't necessarily do toobad. I definitely think we could have done some of them alittle bit better."
