"We were doing a decent job running the ball, but it got to apoint where we knew we had to start putting the ball in theair," Garrard said. "The coaches felt it, we felt it and we knewwe could do it. We just had to go out there and execute."

Carney added a 27-yard field goal just over three minutes laterto make it 13-7, and the Falcons could not generate any offensedown the stretch.

"It's not discouraging, its frustrating. There's a difference,"Harrington said. "Discouraging would imply that we don't believein what we're doing or we don't believe in ourselves. We knowwe can move the ball. It's a matter of finishing off thosedrives."

Pushed into the starting quarterback job in the wake of federaldogfighting charges against Michael Vick, Joey Harringtoncontinues to show he's not the answer. He completed 12-of-20passes for 200 yards without a TD or interception and was sackedseven times.

The Jaguars barely topped their week one output, 10 points, butit was enough against the inept Falcons.

"Obviously, it was a situation where we needed to find a way towin, somehow, someway," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said.

Garrard completed 17-of-25 passes for 272 yards and Fred Taylorran for 56 yards on 16 carries.
